    As Long As She Is Comfortable And Feeding Well, I Don’t Really Care What Others Think

    I know that a picture of me breastfeeding is being shared right now. I am ok with it. Thanks for the concern to all those who have pmed me.

    Personally, I am not too bothered about it since I don’t think it is wrong to breastfeed in public. I have a nursing cover, but my girl will cry and struggle when I use it. Those who suggest using a cover should try eating or drinking under a cover and see if you like it or not. I put my baby first so as long as she is comfortable and feeding well, I don’t really care what others think. It isn’t that hard to just look away if you don’t like to see a baby drinking milk.

    I just want to dress up and be a normal woman while still being able to take care of my kids and their needs. If people are ok with women who show cleavage, I don’t know why they would not be ok with me breastfeeding. Unless these group of people think my breast is for sex and not for feeding my baby.

    Anyway, it’s just a breast. We all have it. Be it female or male. It’s meant to be used to feed a baby, I don’t see anything wrong with using it to feed a baby and ensuring my baby is comfortable. What’s so sexual/wrong about it? Hahas! Maybe girls should stop eating bananas/popsicle in public as some might find it sexual too.

    Too many Malay men sex abusing infants in Singapore? Like pedophiles?! I haven’t heard of one such incident in Singapore. As much as we’d like to think we are very multi-racial, everyday I still come across racism in Singapore. Be it finding a job or doing anything else, most Chinese people/employers always seem to play the race card. Pretty sick of this.

    Resident Tracks Woman Offering Sex Services In Condo, Records 111 Visitors In 3 Weeks

    A woman allegedly offering sex services in a condominium unit in Little India is being investigated by the police, thanks to three weeks’ work by a neighbour who wanted to stamp out vice activities there.

    The neighbour, who gave her name only as Mary, told Shin Min Daily News in a report on Tuesday (March 14) that the woman from China moved in on Feb 20.

    Mary found her activities suspicious.

    “She moved in in the morning. That afternoon, there were strange men who visited her, and after that even more strange men,” Mary told Shin Min.

    She said the men took the lift separately and visited the woman’s second-floor unit in the six-storey building. She declined to reveal the name of the development.

    The woman allegedly entertained 111 customers in the span of three weeks, with as many as 10 a day in her busiest week, said Mary.

    The visitors ranged in ages from 20s to 60s, and would visit between 11am and 3am.

    “I once saw an uncle walking outside the condo,” said Mary. “After I talked to him, he admitted he was waiting for a woman. I had heard friends say that you can use the Weixin chat service to get ‘services’, and by using Weixin’s ‘people nearby’ feature, I found (a woman nearby) offering ‘professional massage’ services.”

    The woman’s Weixin photo matched the new tenant.

    On her profile, she allegedly advertised her services and even included a website link, said Mary.

    “I clicked on the link and found out that she offered sex services, so I reported it to the police. After that, I checked the closed-circuit camera television footage daily and wrote down 18 pages of notes on strange men who went to the second floor,” she said.

    On Saturday (March 11), Mary printed out posters explaining what the woman was doing, to warn other residents.

    The woman moved out on Sunday (March 12), Mary said.

    Police confirmed with The Straits Times on Tuesday that a report was lodged, adding that investigations are ongoing.

    In 2015, The New Paper reported the arrest of another woman conducting vice activities in a condominium unit, after a resident reported it to the police.

    The Straits Times understands that it is the same sharp-eyed resident at the same development.

    Singapore Bishop Issues Advisory On ‘Gay Moment’ In Beauty And The Beast

    Romantic scenes involving two male characters in the live-action remake of the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast have prompted an advisory from the head of the Anglican church in Singapore, calling on parents to “provide guidance to their children” on the movie.

    In a statement posted on the St Andrew’s Cathedral website on Sunday (12 March), Bishop Rennis Ponniah urged the faithful to be mindful of the “homosexual content” in the movie, which comes out during the March school holidays. Singapore’s censorship board has given the movie a PG (parental guidance) rating.

    “In this new live-action remake of the classic film , the character LeFou is portrayed as gay and a ‘gay moment’ is included in the movie by way of a sub-plot,” noted the bishop.

    “Parents are therefore strongly advised to provide guidance to their children about this re-make of Beauty & the Beast, and indeed to their children’s entertainment choices in a rapidly changing age.”

    Ponniah added that the Anglican Diocese and the National Council of Churches are working on a fuller advisory in the coming week.

    Beauty and the Beast has stirred controversy in the US, with conservative Christians calling for a boycott of the movie for its alleged pro-LGBT agenda.

    Cat Killer Jailed 18 Weeks For 2 Counts Of Animal Cruelty

    A 25-year-old man first threw a cat from the 10th floor staircase landing of an HDB block and when he found that it was still alive, he slammed it on the ground twice to make sure that it died.

    On Monday (March 13), Fajar Ashraf Fajar Ali, who works as a supervisor in the food and beverage industry, was jailed for 18 weeks on two counts of animal cruelty. He committed the acts on the 10th floor and at the void deck of Block 884 Tampines Street 83 on May 26 last year.

    Deputy Public Prosecutor Soh Weiqi said that at 1.07am that day, Ashraf had left home to look for cats to play with.

    About half an hour later, he saw the female shorthair cat at a neighbouring block and lured it into the lift with cat food.

    He took the lift to the 10th storey and played with the cat at the staircase landing.

    When the cat tried to escape, he lured it back with more food.

    He then picked the animal up and dropped it over the ledge.

    He went to the ground floor to check if the cat was alive. When he found that it was still alive, he picked the cat up and slammed it on the ground twice. He left after making sure the cat was dead.

    He stated that he had committed the various acts as he was frustrated that cats did not want to go near him.

    He was arrested five days later.

    His lawyer Amarjit Singh Sidhu said his client was deeply remorseful for his actions and regretted mistreating the cat and causing its death.

    The prosecution had sought five months’ jail for Ashraf, who has been found unsuitable for mandatory treatment order.

    District Judge May Mesenas agreed with DPP Soh that a deterrent sentence was needed to ensure that like-minded individuals do not commit such offences.

    Ashraf could have been fined up to $15,000 and/or jailed for up to 18 months per charge.
