Young Man Assaults Uncle In Middle Of Traffic In Ang Mo Kio

Stomper Danny alerted Stomp to a video on Facebook showing a young man assaulting an old man in the middle of a busy road in Ang Mo Kio.

The video first shows the men arguing outside an orange-coloured car.

The young man then shoved the old man multiple times before the duo continued to shout at each other.

The traffic lights turned green during the scuffle and vehicles started moving forward.

Instead of leaving the scene, the younger man started violently shoving the old man. Parts of video also show the old man getting hit on his head.

The old man went back to confront the young driver after the first wave of punches and shoves, and was assaulted once again.

Towards the end of the video, a vehicle’s horn could be heard, suggesting that the incident might have caused a jam.

It is unclear what led to the incident as well as what happened thereafter.

Police Report Lodged Against Unle Who Jumped On Car’s Bonnet

Pilot Adrian Choo was driving home along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 on Wednesday afternoon when he noticed an elderly man waving at him.

“I thought he was most probably a jaywalker,” said Mr Choo, 44, who slowed his car to a stop for the man.

But instead of crossing the road, the man ran towards Mr Choo’s car and jumped on his bonnet.

Fearing it might be a ruse to cheat unsuspecting drivers out of money, Mr Choo submitted video footage of the bizarre incident, captured on his dashboard camera, to citizen journalism website Stomp.

In the 20-second video, the old man, dressed in a loose white T-shirt and shorts, is seen hurling himself at the stationary vehicle. He is then seen removing his spectacles, rolling off the car, and walking away.

Mr Choo said he did not get out to confront the man partly because he did not wish to hold up traffic. “I also wasn’t sure if he was mentally unstable,” said Mr Choo, who was in the car with his 11-year-old daughter.

He added that he believes the man left because he spotted the dashboard camera.

“It was quite shocking. What if I didn’t have a camera? It would just be my word against his,” said Mr Choo, adding that he made a police report on the matter yesterday.

“I hope other drivers will be aware of him. Judging from his demeanour, it seems like he’s practised.”

Yesterday, residents in the vicinity identified the man as an 80-year-old resident of Ang Mo Kio.

“He cycles around the area. He’s quite strong,” Mr Jack Tan, 54, told The Straits Times.

Mr Lim Kay Chuan, 52, who is unemployed, said: “He usually sits at the void deck of Block 203, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3. Sometimes he plays mahjong there.”

When contacted, a police spokesman confirmed that a report had been lodged, and said they were looking into the matter.

Lawyer M Ravi To Contest As An Independent In Ang Mo Kio

Lawyer M Ravi today (Feb 2) declared in a hastily-called press conference his intention to contest the next General Election as an independent candidate in Ang Mo Kio constituency.

Sending the media the invitation roughly three hours before the press conference started yesterday afternoon at The Fullerton Bay Hotel, he spent nearly an hour unleashing a tirade against the Government for not treating Singaporeans with due respect and not putting their interests above those of foreigners.

His electoral campaign, he said, will focus on seeing Singaporeans “being put first”. He also brought up a range of issues he wants to tackle should he be elected. For example, he called for the four official languages here — Malay, English, Mandarin and Tamil — to be made compulsory in school curriculum to “promote equality in the languages”.

The lawyer, who has taken on a number of cases involving government leaders, including the recent defamation suit by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong against blogger Roy Ngerng, said he chose to run in Mr Lee’s constituency because he (Mr Ravi) has a quarter of his relatives living there. He said he has not firmed up plans on who will run with him in the six-member Group Representation Constituency. Mr Ravi also said he aspires to become the Prime Minister one day. He claimed that he had set aside S$1 million for his campaign and said more details of his manifesto will be announced on Friday.

Taxi Driver Forced To Sell HDB Flat After Owing HDB And AMK Town Council Money

People’s Action Party-run town councils and Lee Hsien Loong who is the head of this PAP Team please DON”T come out with all sorts of nice stories to deceive & con the public that you B******* are so kind when comes to arrears owed to the PAP Town Councils la…!!

There was one taxi driver suffering from serious knee gout residing at Block 606, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5…!!! He can’t even generate a regular and constant source of income as a taxi driver to feed his own daily meal…!!!

As a result he owed both installment arrears to both his housing loan & his S&CC charges…!!!

With his home dangling with torn & broken window glasses and water leakage from these old metal sewage pipes, his remaining 1 room out from his 2 room + 1 hall HDB Flat, doesn’t attract any tenant who is prepared to pay for a reasonable monthly rental charges at the normal market price…!!!

For the sake of survival so that he can pay his regular medical bills and fill his stomach from hunger, reluctantly he rented out one of his room to a tenant at S$230 per month…!!!

HDB and Ang Mo Kio Town Council keep harassing him with harsh reminders and lawyer letters when he practically fall into no means to service his housing loan and the S&CC…!!!

Both HDB and Town Council ignore his pleadings and suggested him to either sell away his flat or they will proceed with a repossession so that arrears of all nature can be paid up in full WITHOUT HAVING THE NEED FOR ALL THEIR OFFICERS PUTTING IN SO MUCH ATTENTION TO HIS CASE…!!!

Eventually he was forced to sell away his flat at the price he bought and the last known was sharing to reside at a sibling’s house at Toa Payoh…!! As to whether or not he is still alive today, none of his friends knows.

Lee Hsien Loong and the entire PAP Team are this cruel to the extent that even those in the ANIMAL FARM will turn them away if anyone of them run into deep shit one day…!!!

THAT’S WHY IF YOU CONTINUE TO VOTE FOR PAP, YOU PEOPLE WILL DIE FASTER AND PREPARED TO DIG YOUR OWN GRAVE FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR FUTURE GENERATION…!!! Thank you…..

Malay Race Being Discriminated When Apply for SG Citizenship

As promised this is the real-life story which I feel all true blue Singaporeans should know. Compare it with the ease with which PR and citizenship are dished out to foreigners, especially from the PRC, the PAP’s favourite hunting ground for immigrants to make Singapore more Chinese than it already is. And naturally Yang Yin’s case comes to mind.

This insulting tale which I’m about to tell I believe is not an isolated one. Many others may have been suffering – and still suffering – in silence.

Yaacob (not his real name) is the youngest in a family of 6 children – 5 boys and a girl. He is in his thirties and was born, bred and schooled in Singapore. He works and contributes to the economy as a forklift operator.His elderly parents and all his elder siblings are full citizens with pink ICs. Through some unexplained circumstances Yaacob is the only one holding a blue IC.

The fault could have been caused by an inadvertent mistake of his father, a simple folk, or that of the officer at the NRO.

Having faced all the inconveniences of a blue IC holder and missing out on all the rights and privileges of a citizen through no fault of his, Yaacob finally decided seek help. He did not say whether he had gone to see any MP because he might have thought that as a blue IC holder he would not be entertained. Incidentally he lives in Ang Mo Kio and the principal MP there is none other than the PM himself.

He went straight to the Immigration/National Registration Office at Kallang, armed with copies of his parents’ and siblings’ birth certificates and ICs.
After a lengthy wait he was interviewed by an officer. But instead of assisting him the officer, a Chinese, threw insults at him by telling him:

1. Though he might be born in Singapore it does not necessarily mean that he can become a citizen.
2. The issuing of pink ICs to his parents and siblings was a mistake, and this killer statement …..
3. His parents could have got married after he was born!

He was then asked to bring his school records and told to leave and wait for a letter from the authorities. He is still waiting.

Yang Yin forged a degree, joined the RC, allegedly cheated and stole from an elderly Singaporean, lied about his association with local organisations, took photographs with the MP and the PM and rumoured to have donated large sums of money to the PAP grassroots, etc and he got his PR. No question need to be asked nor a background check necessary.

Yaacob on the other hand is only making his contributions as a forklift operator but born, bred and schooled in Singapore. What is he getting? INSULTS! CAN YOU TAKE THIS?

To the PAP skin colour and money talk! Others don’t matter.
