Jufrie Mahmood: Allowing War Criminal To Visit Singapore A Sign Of PAP’s Arrogance

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF PAP ARROGANCE! In quick succession! Soon after insulting the sensivities of a majority of Singaporeans with their SYONAN Debacle the PAP continues to insult us by hosting and honouring a WAR CRIMINAL in the next couple of days.

This murderer of men, women and children who hails from a country that has poisoned the minds of Singapore leaders to regard our neighbours, especially those up north, as our sworn enemies, is setting his foot on this blessed land of ours.

It is also due to this poison that Malays are being discriminated and our loyalty to this nation being questioned for the past 5 decades. It is also due to this that we have to allocate billions and billions of dollars of our hard earned money year after to face imaginary enemies.

When will the PAP come to their senses that they have been conned big time?

A criminal with such a murderous record should never ever be allowed to step into this sacred land and given red carpet treatment at that. The PAP is so arrogant and insensitive to the feelings of decent human beings, thinking that they are now all too powerful that they can continue to thumb their nose to whoever disagrees with them.

Actually we Singaporeans are all brothers, ready to defend and give our lives for the nation. It is the Iraelis who have divided us by sowing distrust among us.

The racist PAP swallowed the Israeli poison hook, line and sinker.

7 Held Over Melbourne Christmas Day Terrorist Plot

Police have disrupted a terrorist plot to detonate improvised explosive devices at locations in central Melbourne, possibly on Christmas Day, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says.

Seven people were arrested overnight at properties in Flemington, Meadow Heights and Dallas in Melbourne over the alleged plot, which police said was inspired by the Islamic State (IS) group.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews described the plot as an “act of evil”, while Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton said police had seized “the makings of an improvised explosive device”.

Speaking at a press conference today, Mr Turnbull said: “Overnight our police and security agencies have disrupted a very substantial terrorist plot.

“Overnight, the Victoria Police, working with the Australian Federal Police and ASIO, have arrested seven persons, five of whom are still in custody, searched five premises and are continuing to search them.

“What they have uncovered is a plot to explode improvised explosive devices in central Melbourne in the area of Federation Square, on or about Christmas Day.

The raids were part of a counter-terrorism operation involving Victoria Police, the Australian Federal Police and ASIO.

Commissioner Ashton said it was believed a number of people were intending to carry out an attack involving explosives and other weapons.

“Over the last fortnight … we have had to conduct a criminal investigation relating to the formation of what we believe was a terrorist plot,” he said.

Police believe the locations to be targeted include Federation Square, Flinders Street Station, and St Paul’s Cathedral.

Commissioner Ashton said: “We believe [the plot] was going to involve an explosive event, the use of explosives, and we gathered evidence to support that.

“There has also been evidence that we will lead around the possibility of an intention to use other weapons. That could include knives and/or a firearm.

“Certainly these [people] are self-radicalised, we believe, but inspired by ISIS and ISIS propaganda.”

A 24-year-old man from Meadow Heights, a 26-year-old man from Dallas, a 22-year-old man from Campbellfield, a 21-year-old man from Flemington and a 21-year-old man from Gladstone Park remain in police custody.

A 20-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, both from Meadow Heights, were released without charge.

The five people in custody were expected to face court this afternoon, charged with acts in preparation of a terrorist event, Commissioner Ashton said.

Commissioner Ashton said four of the five were Australian-born with a Lebanese background.

“The age groups range between 20 and 24 or 25. There is another suspect in this matter who will be charged that was an Egyptian-born Australian citizen. All the others were Australian-born,” he said.

Premier Daniel Andrews said there would be an increased police presence at large gatherings in Victoria over the Christmas period.

Commissioner Ashton said he spoke to Cricket Australia about providing additional security at the MCG during the Boxing Day Test, which starts on Monday.

  • Indon Ulamas Accept Bribes in Milions of Rupiah to Issue Halal Licenses

The Indonesian Council of Ulamas (MUI) has accepted hundreds of millions of rupiah in bribes from Australian halal certification companies, a Tempo investigation has found.

The owners of several halal certification businesses in Australia have confirmed it is common to pay the MUI for the licenses.

“It’s common knowledge in Australia that in order to get authorization you have to bribe MUI officials,” Mohamed el-Mouelhy, president of the Sydney-based Halal Certification Authority told Tempo.

El-Mouelhy gave AUD $26,000 to seven MUI officials during a visit to Australia in 2006, of which “the largest share” went to Amidhan, he said.  He did not, however, receive authorization.

Australian Halah Food Services (AHFS), a Melbourne-based business, told Tempothey paid bribes to senior officials from MUI to renew their license to certify abattoirs as halal. These bribes range from smaller payments of AUD $3000 (around Rp. 31 million) to AUD $10,000 put directly in the bank account of MUI Chairman Amidhan Shaberah.

The accreditation process, which Amidhan also does for European halal-certifiers, is a free service, with the MUI expecting money to be put into the local Islamic community as recompense.

The AFHS was re-issued certification in 2013 after losing it for failing to uphold halal standards at slaughterhouses. When visiting abattoirs in Victoria certified by the AFHS in January, Tempo found halal meat being prepared in the same areas as pork, and beef not killed according to shariah law.

    Denial

Facing a flood of accusations, MUI officials have denied the charges, asserting that the halal certification should be free of charge.

“We do not have cash for making the visit,” said LPPOM Director at MUI Lukmanul Hakim.

Hakim has also refuted profiteering allegations, saying that they “charge the host authority to cover the visit expenses”.

Meanwhile, Chief of Indonesia Ulema Counsel (MUI), Amidhan Shaberah, noted that “halal certification should be free of charge”.

Shaberah added that the same term should be applied to all halal certification institutes in other countries.

Indonesia is the most populous Muslim state where Muslims make up 86.1 percent of Indonesia’s 235 million population.

The Ulema council, established in 1975, has carved a key role for itself in the Muslim country.

The accusations have sparked outcry among the Indonesians who slammed MUI monopoly of the halal industry deeming its conduct as “haram”.
