    Woman Claims Photographer Molested Her During Photo Shoot

    A 21-year-old woman who was promised a head start in a modelling career allegedly ended up being molested by the photographer.

    The aspiring model from Klebang here claimed that the man had, during the photo session at a hotel last Saturday, fondled and massaged her while taking pictures of her in undergarments and other sexy attire.

    Now, the woman is fearful that those pictures will be made public. She has lodged a police report on the incident.

    The young woman’s experience was related by her friend, who wanted to be identified only as Diana, 22, to The Star yesterday.

    According to Diana, the photographer had promised to help her friend become a popular face with advertising agencies and magazines.

    “He told her she could make good money if she was selected by any of the agencies,” she said.

    Diana claimed that the photographer had driven her friend from her home at about 1pm that day to a hotel for the photo shoot.

    “My friend was asked to pose in a coat and undergarments by the photographer.

    “Next thing she knew, the man was touching her private parts at the photo session,” Diana alleged.

    She said three days after that, the photographer still refused to show her friend the pictures he had taken of her.

    “My friend then lodged a report at the Tengkera police station on Mon­­day night,” she added.

    In her report, the woman claimed that she had refused to wear sexy attire midway through the photo session and demanded to be sent home.

    She added that she had got ac­­quainted with the photographer recently and believed his claims of connections with modelling agencies.

    Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Shaikh Abdul Adzis Shaikh Abdul­lah said investigations had been launched.

    Man Bashes Elderly Man Who Allegedly Touched His Girlfriend

    An elderly man was beaten up in a coffee shop for allegedly molesting the assailant’s girlfriend.

    The incident, part of which was captured on video, happened at Block 59, Marine Terrace, on Sunday at about 1.30pm.

    A bald man in his 20s had accused the older man of touching his girlfriend’s buttocks before attacking him on and off for about 20 minutes, witnesses told The New Paper yesterday.

    The victim suffered a broken nose, had blood all over his face, and his T-shirt was ripped to shreds.

    A customer at the coffee shop said: “The young man kept punching the old man and no one stepped in to help. I was afraid to step in as well because he was so fierce and looked intimidating.”

    The police said they are investigation the incident as a case of voluntarily causing grievous hurt and outrage of modesty.

    Dear ASS,

    This Incident happen on 02/08/15, Sunday, 3:10pm. I was shopping with my 15yrs old daughter inside the shop name called Hako (that sells a lot of accessories) in AMKHub.

    I realize there’s this medium build tanned looking guy with the whole hair white hair that is always standing beside me and my daughter. Initially I thought he was just looking at the accessories beside me so I never really notice much on that too. Then after shopping for a while, I went to outside of the store and waited for my daughter as she went to make payment at the cashier.

    Just few mins after I came out, I saw my daughter shouting out to the white haired guy and asking why did he touch her breast. I was in a state of shockness. My husband was with me and he heard about the commotion and straight away, he gave that man a punch in a fit of anger. The guy didn’t retaliate and kept claiming that he did not touched her.

    I was very angry, I told him no point arguing now, there’s CCTV in the shop, so we shall wait to see the truth. I call the police immediately to report the case.

    While waiting for the police, I asked my daughter what happen. She told me that the guy had bump into her twice in the store already. But the first 2 times only brush against her hand so she thought maybe it was accidentally. But the third time while she was near the cashier, the guy use his elbow and brush against her breast.

    This is too much, obviously this is intentionally!!! Who in the hell would raise up his elbow and walk? Seriously! And 3x in a row at the shop, mind you, we were in the shop for 10-15mins only. The passage way of the shop is abt 1m apart, don’t tell me you need to squeeze yr way out in a 1m path way?

    And when my daughter call out to him in the shop to stop him, he keep rushing out of the store and not responding to my daughter. Just FYI, my daughter called him and tap his shoulder. In a normal circumstance, if a normal person were to tap yr shoulder, would U at least turn back and ask wat happen? He didn’t! He just keep walking out of the store until he reaches the exit and my daughter scare that he might walk away so she grab his shirt to stop him. This is when he finally stopped and turn back.

    And still can have the cheek to act very innocent and act as if we accuses him. I faster went into the shop and check with the shop assistant if we can retrieve the CCTV, she say no problem at all. I’m also very glad that the shop assistant was very helpful, she told me she will offer her assistance to the police in the event if they require any information.

    Never in my entire life would I expect this type of thing will happen to my daughter. And luckily she’s brave enough to report the act. He should be aiming at her for quite some time already, this type of LAO DI KOR likes to aim for this type of teens gals. Because he feels that they might be scare to report it.

    And I’m very sure it’s not the first time he had been doing this. I really hope that if there’s any witness to come forward to assist to make sure the fellow will be deserve the rightful sentence from the judge. So that he does not harm any of the other gals anymore. Attached with his picture, appreciate if all of you can share this story and make sure he does not have the chance to repeat the same act again.

    Doctor Fails To Escape Jail For Molesting Patient

    Medical doctor Winston Lee Siew Boon, 71, failed to escape jail for molesting a patient on two occasions after the High Court yesterday dismissed his appeal against his conviction and a 10-month prison sentence.

    Justice Chan Seng Onn found the woman’s testimony was “completely consistent internally” and that she had no motive to accuse Lee falsely of touching her breast.

    On the other hand, Lee’s testimony was “beset with inconsistencies” and far less logical than that of the woman, said Justice Chan as he upheld the conviction.

    In rejecting Lee’s appeal against the sentence, Justice Chan noted that the general practitioner – who is also known as a motoring writer – had abused his position of trust as a medical practitioner.

    Lee was “particularly cunning” in disguising his act of molestation as part of his explanation of a potential medical problem while examining the patient, said the judge.

    The woman trusted Lee and even gave him the benefit of the doubt after the first incident, he noted. “It is loathsome that he did not relent and tried it again by molesting her twice on the second occasion.”

    Lee, a doctor for 40 years, was allowed to start serving his jail term on Aug 17 and was released on bail of $15,000.

    He had asked for time to transfer his 70,000 patients to other doctors, make caregiving arrangements for his stroke-afflicted wife and undergo a medical check-up.

    Lee was 67 in June 2011 when the woman, 34, a medical products sales representative, went to his Bukit Batok clinic to do an HIV blood test. After her blood was drawn, she complained of nausea and flatulence and Lee told her to lie down on the bed.

    She then told him she had chest pains and asked if she could continue to exercise.

    Lee put his hand under her bra and squeezed her breast as he told her she could exercise as long as she did not feel pain there.

    She brushed it off as part of the check-up, thinking it was the doctor’s way of showing the location of her heart.

    Four months later, when she saw him for a sore throat and to discuss weight management, he groped her breast twice. She was confused but made a police report after checking with her boss and a female doctor on whether Lee’s actions were appropriate.

    Lee’s version was that he had placed a clenched fist over her breastbone to show where she would feel chest pains.

    Man Molests Girlfriend’ Teenage Daughter Under Guise Of Spiritual Cleansing

    A man told his girlfriend that he would perform “spiritual cleansing” on her teen daughter, but he did not say it would involve fondling the girl’s breast and touching her genitals.

    That took place in October last year, and the man, 31, was sentenced to 15 months’ jail and three strokes of the cane yesterday.

    The 15-year-old victim was a student at the time and had considered the accused to be her stepfather even though he is not married to her mother.

    He had moved into a flat in Bukit Merah with the victim and her mother on Oct 16.

    On the night that they moved in, the accused discussed “spiritual cleansing” with the victim’s mother.

    He said this would involve massaging the teenager’s body. The mother agreed to the purported cleansing. Neither the victim nor her mother agreed to the accused touching the victim’s private parts.

    The three of them went to sleep together that night in the living room of the one-room HDB unit, with the victim lying in the middle.

    At about 3am, the teenager awoke to discover that the accused had slipped his hand underneath her T-shirt and was touching her stomach.

    Shocked and unsure what to do, she kept quiet and pretended to be asleep.

    The accused slowly moved his hand to touch her left breast for about three minutes before getting up to talk to her mother. After speaking with the mother for some time, he returned to lie down next to the victim, who continued to feign sleep.

    The accused then put his hand inside the girl’s shorts and touched her genitals. Upon feeling some pain, she got up and walked away to sit on the sofa. She remained awake, using her cellphone until dawn, then left for school.

    Later that day, she told her aunt about the molestation and filed a police report, in which she referred to the accused as her stepfather.

    In court yesterday, he admitted to two charges of criminal use of force with the knowledge that he would outrage the girl’s modesty.

    Deputy Public Prosecutor James Chew noted that the man had previously been convicted for an unrelated charge of underage sex.

    He further argued that the man had abused the girl’s trust as her surrogate father figure, and that he had stopped just short of committing the more serious sexual penetration of a minor.

    For each individual charge, the man could have been jailed for up to two years, caned, and fined, or given any combination of the three punishments.
