    Man Rides Electric Skate Scooter Through McDonald’s Drive-Thru While Smoking, Almost Langgar Car In Front

    Stomper Gerald saw a man endangering himself by riding a scooter at the McDonald’s Drive-Thru at Kallang Leisure Park on Feb 8.

    The man also happened to be smoking and had nearly banged into a car in front of him.

    Gerald, who wondered why the man couldn’t simply get off his scooter and order food from the McDonald’s counter indoors instead, said:

    “Saw this guy with a scooter at the Macs drive-thru at Kallang Lesiure Park three days ago.

    “He was smoking and almost knocked into the car in front..

    “I was wondering why he couldn’t have just gotten off his scooter and order food inside. Even motorcyclists don’t go through the Drive-Thru.”

    19 Year Old Motorcyclist Killed After Collision With Trailer

    Passersby knew something was wrong when they saw white cloth draped over a motorcycle this morning.

    The bike, still standing upright, seemed to have collided with a trailer.

    A heavy machine operator who wanted to be known only as Mr Tan, 70, told Shin Min Daily News that he saw the accident unfold outside his Pioneer Road office.

    He said the motorcyclist slumped to the side, then remained motionless. The man’s helmet, glasses and slippers fell off.

    A police spokesman said they received a call at about 8.15am, alerting them about an accident involving a trailer and motorbike along Pioneer Road towards Tuas West Drive.

    Paramedics pronounced the 19-year-old motorcyclist dead at the scene.

    Investigations are ongoing.

    Off-Duty Medic’s Quick Thinking Saved Badly Injured Motorcyclist

    Sharing with you the incident occurred yesterday morning. #agoodsamaritan Thank you for being the saviour of the day!! Earlier this morning despite on his off duty day, our own medical crew has stepped forward in rendering first aid for a road traffic accident casualty while awaiting for 995 ambulance to arrive.

    Mr Abdillah whom is certified/trained in medical and emergencies offered his help to the casualty who was badly injured due to the accident. The casualty who was suffering from a dislocated right shoulder and a deep laceration cut on his left eye was found lying on the road near Selatar Link road this morning moaning in pain.

    Mr Abdillah’s fast thinking act has improvised all the treatments by using a long sleeve shirt (given by a bangladeshi workers nearby) as a sling to support the arm, while a cloth to stop the profused bleeding.

    Later, the casualty was conveyed to the hospital by the SCDF personnel.

    We wish the casualty a speedy recovery!

    Father Of 2 Killed After Getting Knocked Down By Motorcyclist While Trying To Cross TPE

    A man, suspected to be taking a shortcut, was crossing the expressway when he was knocked down by a motorcyclist.

    According to Lianhe Wanbao, the man died on scene. The motorcyclist suffered head injuries, and was sent unconscious to the hospital.

    This incident happened on Sep 27 at about 10.50pm along the Tampines Expressway (TPE).

    The deceased is a 39-year-old Malay cleaner named Ismail.

    He leaves behind a 41-year-old wife, a daughter and a son, aged 14 and 8 respectively. They live in Sengkang.

    The motorcyclist is a 23-year-old Indian man named Prakash. He suffered severe head injuries and is still currently unconscious.

    However, his condition is stable and is recuperating in a hospital. He also has some bruises and abrasions all over his body and face.

    Ismail’s wife shared in sorrow that her husband was a good father that took care of the family. She thinks that he might have been taking a shortcut by crossing the highway.

    He was returning home when the accident happened. She only knew about her husband’s accident after receiving a call from the police.

    His son shared that their house was near the expressway, but there was an overhead bridge.

    Ismail was the sole breadwinner of the family, working as a cleaner in Pasir Ris.

    His wife cried that she did not know what to do now that he’s gone, for he had all along provided for the whole family.

    Police have confirmed the accident, and are still conducting investigations.
