Man Behaved Erratically, Yelled At Driver, Resisted Arrest By TransCom Officers
Stomper Vincent was on his way to work yesterday morning (Mar 21) when he heard a man shouting at a bus driver at Serangoon Bus Interchange.
The Stomper said that he witnessed the commotion at around 9am.
The man, whom the Stomper said was behaving erratically, was yelling at a bus driver on board an empty bus.
The Stomper said that the driver had closed the doors of the bus, leaving him alone with the man still inside.
He also said that he could hear the commotion despite being a distance away.
Vincent added that officers from the Public Transport Security Command (TransCom) arrived soon after, and pinned the man down because he was resisting.
According to the Stomper, they later took him away for questioning.

23 Year Old Uber Driver Dies After Car Turns Turtle Along Neo Tiew Lane
This 23 year-old youth took up a job as a Uber driver because wanted to earn enough to pay for his own school fees.
His journey ended tragically last Sunday at about 4AM when his vehicle skidded and turned turtle along Neo Tiew Lane 3, leaving him in a coma from which he never woke from. He was pronounced dead Friday morning at Khoo Teck Phuat hospital where he was warded.
According to his 54 year-old father, Mr Li, the family received word of their son’s accident from a friend at about 5AM on the date of the accident. Their son had already been in a coma when he came into to emergency ward of the hospital. After medical tests were done, doctors concluded that Mr Li’s son had become brain dead.
At the time of the accident, the younger Mr Li was ferrying a 16 year old and a 18 year old passenger. Both passengers escaped without serious injuries.

Horrified Passenger: Uber Driver Ate Fast Food, Drove Using Only One Pinky
Uber driver has taken UberEATS way too literally, and possibly landed himself in hot water.
With driverless cars all the rage now, one Uber passenger certainly felt like she was riding in one, when the driver of the car she was in allegedly controlled the steering wheel with just a pinky during the ride as he ate his food.
According to Lianhe Wanbao, a reader identified as Ms Xu, 48, was taking a Uber trip from Pasir Ris to her workplace in Toa Payoh, at around 3pm on Wednesday (Dec 15) when it happened.
“As soon as I boarded, I could smell the oily fast food,” she told Lianhe Wanbao, “I asked the driver to wind down the windows, and he even asked me ‘why?’.”
She said the driver held a sauce box in his left hand and picked up fries and chicken nuggets with his right, while driving through the entire 20-minute journey, only holding the steering wheel with his left pinky.
While she could understand if the driver ate whenever the car stopped at red lights, as he might be so busy he did not have time for meals, she was appalled that he was doing so even while on the expressway.
“It was really dangerous. What if something had happened? He definitely would not have had time to react,” Ms Xu said, who added that she was frightened throughout the journey.
As she did not want to confront the driver directly, she took a video to lodge a complaint with Uber. She added that she felt like she was onboard a driverless car.
“At some point, some sauce dripped onto his pants, and he momentarily took both his hands off the wheel to pick up some tissue and wipe off the mess. It was really outrageous,” Ms Xu told Lianhe Wanbao.
According to Lianhe Wanbao, Uber has apologised to Ms Xu, and will investigate the matter and take appropriate action against the errant driver.

Gold Car Driver Dressed In SAF Uniform Hits Pedestrian, Did Not Stay To Exchange Particulars

Accident between pedestrian and gold car (make and model unknown, casualty unable to take note due to shock + blurred vision due to blood flowing from forehead)
Driver is an SAF officer in uniform, dark skin, casualty describes to be Indian in his 40s. Does not look young.
Location: Choa Chu Kang North 6, 2 way street between Yew Tee Point and Blk 569.
Date/Time: 22 July 2016 Friday 10.45pm.
Surrounding Condition: Drizzling. Wet road. Minimal traffic.Driver stopped and got out of car to check if casualty is okay but did not exchange any identification details. Drove off towards the direction of Yew Tee Primary School after ensuring that casualty could get up.
