Baby Raffique Is Out Of The Operating Theater, Recuperating And In Stable Condition

Syukran to Allah for giving strength to this babyboy. In life i have gone through quite a number of obstacles but none is as great as this babyboy. Syukran to Allah for choosing us to help him in his fight to improve his health. Insyallah he will fight all the way and be as per normal in months to come. Below is an update from Amy Recha about his nephew after his surgery.

“Updates on Raffique Rayfal and the donation campaign.

    Salam everyone,

Baby Raffique is finally out from the operating theater and Alhamdulilah, his condition is stable at the moment.

I, Amy Recha, would like to inform everyone that I will be no longer collecting donations via transferring into my account. Fundraising is still going on, however, ONLY at https://give.asia/movement/fundraising_4_raffique_rayfal

Alhamdulilah, as at 13 June 2017, we’ve collected $50,217 (not including the total donations collected on https://give.asia/movement/fundraising_4_raffique_rayfal )

Total payment made as at today is $50, 294.12. To see my sister smiling so widely when making payment makes me feel so touched. Alhamdulilah, honestly, we could not do it without all of your help. On behalf of my family, thank you so much everyone. May Allah bless all the kind souls who’ve donated, shared my posts and prayed for baby.

InshaAllah, baby Raffique will be out of this war soon. Amin 🙏🏻

  • Funeral Prayer For Allahyarham Nadzrie After Friday Prayers At Al-Khair Mosque

Funeral Prayer For Allahyarham Nadzrie After Friday Prayers At Al-Khair Mosque

Salam semua.

Baginda s.a.w bersabda: Seumpama dua gunung.

Harap dapat spread message ini ye. Kalau kiter tak dpt pergi, orang lain yang pergi, kiter pun turut dapat pahalanya. Ameen. Alfateha.

    Translated to English:

Greetings everyone. Insyallah , there will be a prayer for our late police officer Nadzrie after Friday prayers at the Al-Khair Mosque. For those who have the time, your presence at the prayers is truly appreciated.

    Guidance from The Prophet (saws)

Hadrat Abu Hurairah (r.a.) reported: The Messenger of Allah (saws) said, “Whoever follows the funeral procession and offers the funeral prayer for it, will get a reward equal to one Qirat, and whoever attends it till burial, will get a reward equal to two Qirat.” It was asked, “What are two Qirat?” He (PBUH) replied, “Equal to two huge mountains.”

Please help to spread this message. If we are unable to attend, but others go instead, we will also be rewarded. Ameen. Alfateha.

Introducing The World’s First Smart Rakat Counter

It’s a common problem – praying and forgetting which rakat you are on – but the Smart Rakat Counter seeks to help with it!

The smart little portable device, created by SmartDeen is an aid for concentration in your prayers. It helps to count the number of Rakats while in Salat. Simple to use, you just place the device at the top-left corner of your prayer mat and it will automatically displace the number of times you have done your sajda.

While you focus on your prayer, the device displays the count!

This Photographer Is Capturing The Way Muslims Pray In Public

“People would approach us and ask questions about what we were doing. They were… curious to know more because they did not know much about Muslims or Islam except from what they saw on television.”

Places You’ll Pray is a photo series which captures the different places Americans Muslims perform their five daily prayers outside the mosque and home.

The photographer, Sana Ullah, told BuzzFeed in an email that she got the idea for the series when her family was at the mall during prayer time and prayed in a dressing room.

She said her goal is not to “flaunt the idea of piety or prayer,” but to demonstrate the ease with which Muslims pray and to portray a side of Muslim life rarely covered in media.

“(The) majority of Muslims are not the evil that hurts this world and its people on it, but rather Muslims (are) constantly taught to love it sincerely and find peace with themselves five times a day,” she said.

Ullah usually asks her subjects to take them to a place they remember praying in the past, and then photographs them there.

Ullah said that she often accompanies her subjects in group prayer and then photographs them during their individual “sunnah” prayer.

She interviews them about their memories of how they came to pray in that location.

Above, on a Florida basketball court, the subject told Ullah: “The first time I prayed here was in 7th grade with about 15 other brothers. At first, it was awkward praying in the courts, but after some time, it felt like every other salah at the masjid.”

Although in many cases, she takes photos of the impromptu places her subjects find to pray, like this one at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Ullah says her she hoped to “build a bridge of communication about Islam” while embracing her Muslim identity.

  • Security Guard Protected Muslim Couple As They Prayed In Stadium

Security Guard Protected Muslim Couple As They Prayed In Stadium

Yesterday my husband and i attended a football game, it was Duhur time and we needed to pray. Finding a place to pray at a football stadium is tough, but we managed to find an empty corner. I was a bit nervous to pray because it wasn’t private at all, particularly in front of everyone, maybe i’m silly but i’m always paranoid i will get attacked while focused in prayer.

My husband started praying and i get approached by stadium security. I thought in my head, here comes this guy, he’s gonna escort me out and tell us we can’t do this here. I was wrong, he came up to me and said “i am going to stand here and guard you guys to make sure nobody gives you any problems, go ahead and pray.”

He allowed us to pray and stood in front guarding us to make sure we are safe. When i finished he came up to us shook our hands and told us to enjoy the game. SubahanAllah, an amazing experience i will never forget.
