    Takeaway Different, Dine There Different. Ayam Penyet Ria @ Bedok Point Mall

    Hi All, i know this is a forum to share good food & places. I just wanted to make you aware of my experience today at Ayam Ria bedok Mall. We packed food for my dad (made me feel worse) as we heard of Ayam Penyet Ria which is apparently famous in our neighbouring country down south.

    Charged $8.10, surprised but played it down as it is in a mall. Skali Dad opened n saw this. Rice barely quarter full. Ayam pon normal2 je. I was really shocked n felt cheated. Next time sesape nk try pls mkn kat sana as I saw those eating there portion dia normal.

    This happened at bedok Mall. I’m not too sure about other outlets but I just wanted to ensure people are made aware. Thanks. 🙁 feeling cheated at Ayam Penyet Ria @ Bedok Point Mall.

    These guys saved my life. Thank you Jeremy, Edward and Gerald. They stopped their cars to aid me. I insisted on taking this pic although they were hesitant.

    Ambulance guys sent me to Tan Tock Seng, was tended to by nurses Rahmat and Adaty, always comforting me when I was in great pain.

    I know they are tired but their proffesionalism was top notch. I am so going to write a commendation letter for the both of them. Thank you for the TLC and of course thanks to my blood NurSyah Raja RaZie and Dyn Norahim for waiting at the A&E.

    PS: Best part is im covered under Great Eastern so they’re paying for every medical treatment as well as the follow ups, all because I have a good insurance agent, Razie’s wife!

    Ria 89.7 Listener: Contemporary Malay Songs Have No Soul, Meaning

    Was listening to Ria 89.7 for the Raya vibes. I came to realize that Malay songs nowadays are so painfully absurd to hear. Imagine song titles like “Boleh Blah”, “Selfie” and some other stupid song titles with even shittier lyrics.

    That’s Malay for you.

    If it’s not a song about heartbreak, its a literally meaningless song about random stuffs.

    The music industry is literally me-Layu-ing.

    Call me an old soul, but at least SM Salim and gang have lots of meaningful advice in their songs for us.
