    Singer Sheila Majid Got into Trouble Because Of Her Tweet…

    Umno information chief Tan Sri Annuar Musa says that iconic singer Sheila Majid, who tweeted about the rising cost of living, was mistaken.

    The Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club portal reported Annuar as saying that much of what Sheila said was not true.

    “A lot of it is wrong, because this is not her field,” said Annuar.

    However, he said that he respected the views and responses of the rakyat and would have a positive attitude about it.

    “We must respect the voices out there, we must give them our attention, and the Government must be positive about it,” he said.

    On Tuesday, Sheila tweeted her disappointment about the rising cost of living which many Malaysians are facing.

    “Food is expensive, the ringgit is weak, the cost of living is high and jobs are scarce,” read part of her tweet.

    Sheila also said that many Malaysians want the Government to focus on getting the country back on track.

    Earlier Wednesday, Puteri Umno executive committee member Khaidhirah Abu Zahar took a jab at actress Fathia Latiff at the Umno annual general assembly here.

    “If she really wants to talk about the struggles of the people, then go on the ground like Puteri Umno. If she just wants to simply type words using her smartphone, then there’s no need,” said Khaidhirah.

    “There’s no need to meddle in government affairs,” Khaidhirah said in her speech at the assembly.

    In a recent Instagram post, Fathia had posted a tribute to former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, saying that his contributions to the country seemed to have been forgotten.

    Football Association Of Malaysia Slapped With Heavy Fine Over SEA Games ‘Anjing’ Chants & Other Insults

    The FAM were fined a total of US$56,000 (S$76,000) after being found liable on six different charges from five matches.

    The bulk of the fine was a consequence of insulting chants by Malaysian supporters group Ultras Malaya in SEA Games group matches against Brunei and Singapore. The group labelled its opponents ‘dogs’, resulting in a US$15,000 fine for each match.

    Crowd trouble at two other SEA Games matches – Malaysia vs Indonesia and Indonesia vs Cambodia – saw FAM fined US$7,500 and US$5,000 respectively. Fans at the Malaysia against Indonesia semi-final clash let off a sound bomb, while there were bottles thrown onto the pitch at the other match.

    The FAM were also fined US$7,500 after water bottles, caps and cups were thrown at match officials when Malaysia faced Hong Kong at Hang Jebat Stadium in September and another US$6,000 for Harimau Malaya players harassing match officials at the end of the Asian Cup qualifier.

    Malaysia coach Nelo Vingada, meanwhile, was fined US$5,000 for making “insulting comments” about match officials to the press following the 1-1 draw with Hong Kong.

    Malaysia skipper Safiq Rahim was also docked US$1,000 following his red card in the return leg of the Hong Kong game in October.

    Pelakon veteran AR Badul menafikan berita dia mendirikan rumah tangga dengan seorang wanita muda seperti foto yang tersebar apabila dimuat naik rakan artis pada Sabtu.

    Badul, 67, berkata, foto perkahwinan itu diambil ketika mereka sedang menjalani penggambaran sebuah drama komedi berjudul Tuyul Ke London baru-baru ini.

    “Mana ada kahwin, itu gambar ketika penggambaran drama Tuyul Ke London saja. Saya pun terkejut bila ada rakan-rakan artis yang sebarkan dan ucap tahniah.

    “Wanita itu pelakon baru dan membawa watak sebagai isteri saya dalam drama tersebut,” ujarnya.

    Badul diminta mengulas tentang foto perkahwinan yang dimuat naik oleh pelakon Ezany Nazariff pada Sabtu.

    Dalam laporan sebuah akhbar, foto berkenaan menjadi tular selepas tersebar di group aplikasi WhatsApps Persatuan Karyawan Malaysia (Karyawan) baru-baru ini.

    Sementara itu, Badul berkata, dia terkejut apabila dihubungi wartawan berkaitan perkara berkenaan.

    “Saya tidak dapat menjelaskan perkara itu kepada pihak wartawan yang hubungi saya semalam kerana ada isteri di sebelah.

    “Saya rasa perlu jelaskan kepada isteri saya terlebih dahulu sebelum dia dengar saya bercakap dengan wartawan tentang perkara itu. Saya tidak mahu timbul salah faham pula,” ujarnya.

    Tambahnya, drama komedi Tuyul Ke London itu bakal ditayangkan pada Disember depan.

    Dalam alam rumah tangga, Badul yang juga anak kepada seniman AR Tompel pernah melalui tujuh kali fasa perkahwinan.

    Dato’ Jalaluddin Hassan Bakal Bernikah Dengan Seorang Ibu Tunggal Anak Empat

    Pelakon popular, Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan, merancang untuk menikahi seorang ibu tunggal selepas genap setahun pemergian isterinya, Datin Hasimah Mat Ehsan.

    Hasimah meninggal dunia pada 5 November tahun lalu akibat komplikasi pembedahan jantung di Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (PPUKM), di sini.

    Jalaluddin, 63, mengaku beliau kini berkawan dengan wanita empat anak berkenaan, yang dikenali menerusi laman sosial sejak Ramadan lalu.

    “Kami berkenalan menerusi Facebook dan kali pertama saya menegurnya adalah pada Ramadan lalu apabila mengucapkan selamat berpuasa kepadanya.

    “Hanya pada Aidilfitri baru kami ada peluang bertemu, pada sebuah acara rumah terbuka. Tak sangka, dia adalah adik kepada kawan saya,” katanya kepada BH Online ketika ditemui pada majlis sidang media Teater Bahara Emas di Auditorium Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, di sini hari ini.

    Teater terbitan Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) itu bakal dipentaskan pada 19 hingga 22 Oktober ini.

    Jalaluddin berkata, jiwa kental yang ada pada wanita yang hanya dikenali sebagai YR itu membuatkan hatinya terpikat, sekali gus mahu menjadikannya sebagai teman hidup.

    “Saya kagum dengan semangatnya membesarkan anak-anak, selain menjaga ibunya yang kurang sihat,” katanya.

    Sementara itu, bercerita mengenai keadaan kesihatannya, pelakon berpengalaman yang juga seorang pengacara itu memberitahu, beliau kini semakin pulih.

    “Bagaimanapun, saya kena lakukan fisioterapi sebab kaki masih lemah dan saya juga perlu menjaga makan,” kata Jalaluddin lagi.

    Pada 2 Oktober lalu, Jalaluddin dilaporkan pengsan selepas menjadi tamu program bual bicara siaran TV AlHijrah, Assalamualaikum.

    This hunky monk is the latest Southeast Asian man raising temperatures online.

    The monk, whose identity is unknown, must have requested protein powder in his alms bowl to get those pumped up arms and legs.

    Though not much is known about these photos, they are getting shared like crazy in Thailand.

    Supposedly, the hunky monk shared the pictures of himself to bring awareness to monks’ health, but the original post could not be located. He wanted Thai monks to try and exercise to stay healthy and strong and for those who give alms to monks to stop giving sweet, fattening, and salty foods. These types of foods make monks sick and cause diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, dyslipidemia (metabolic disorder), and kidney disease.

    Lots of commenters wrote that the Buddhist beefcake might have been a weightlifter before ordaining because his size looks like he’s been lifting for years.

    Others criticized him, saying that monks shouldn’t try to get buff, as it’s vain.

    Even if it is, we say this monk is still holier than the Thai monks who have been caught partying and boozing, giving the finger, evading cops, laundering money, jet-setting, and committing rape — all crimes monks have been accused of this year.

    The post went viral because, well, he’s hot, but also because people were debating if a longtime monk sins by lifting weights or not. However, the answer to the conundrum might have been supplied by a popular Facebook page: that monk hunk is a weightlifter who just ordained for a few days, as many Thai men do at some point in their lives.

    The post on popular page Piak Rider, which has been shared 14,000 times since yesterday, implied that the pics are from 2011 and the man only donned robes for a short time before leaving the monkhood to open a restaurant.

    If it’s true about the restaurant, we’ll bet the cuisine is healthy as hell.
