Sarawak Report: Attorney-General Fired Preparing Arrest Warrant For Najib Razak

Sarawak Report has acquired documents, now verified, which explain exactly why Abdul Gani Patail was dramatically fired on Monday.

The Attorney General was on the brink of bringing charges for corruption against the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

We have acquired the secret draft charge sheet documents, which Gani Patail was in the process of drafting.

They include a charge sheet for corrupt practices under Section 17 (a) of the MACC Act, allowing for punishment of a sentence of up to 20 years in prison under Section 24 of the Act.

In an unprecedented situation the person being charged was none other than the Prime Minister “Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak” along with a company director, Dato’ Shamus Anuar Bin Sulaiman.

The explosive information hits Malaysia in the middle of a highly controversial visit by the British Prime Minister, who had been widely warned against making such a visit in the midst of Malaysia’ biggest political scandal in decades.

The documents, which were being worked in their final draft stages by the Attorney General, were sent to Sarawak Report following the sacking of Gani Patail and have now been verified by other senior parties.

In English the first of two draft warrants spell out the charges being brought by Malaysia’s most senior law officer (who was unconstitutionally dismissed by the Prime Minister the day after these drafts were printed).

The warrant cites that the Prime Minister and Shamsul Anuar and “another person still at large Nik Ariff Bin Faisla Kamil” on 26th of December 2014 at the AmIslamic Bank, Bangunan Ambank Group in Kuala Lumpur, as an agent of the Malaysian Government, namely the Prime Minister of Malaysia and special advisor of SRC International, did secretly obtain a sum of money amounting to RM27 million that was paid through the company Gandingan Mentari and Ihsan Perdana to “your account at AmPrivate Banking -1MY no 211201101880″ with the principal aim of obtaining a loan from Kumpulan Wang Persaraan pension fund.

“As such you have committed an offence under Section 17(1) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Act of 2009, under which you can be punished according to Section 24 of the Act, to be read with Section 34″.

The punishment cited at the base of the document is imprisonment of not more than 20 years and a fine not less than five times of the value of the bribe taken or RM10,000, whichever is higher.

The crime referred to has already been widely reported following exposes by Sarawak Report and the Wall Street Journal at the start of this month.

We produced documents from the task force investigation into 1MDB, which showed that its former subsidiary SRC International (whose CEO is Nik Kamil) had made a number of payments into the Prime Minister’s personal accounts totalling millions of ringgit over a period from last December to this February.

The payments went through the companies Gandingan Menteri Sdn Bhd, of whom the Director was Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil (also wanted for questioning) and Ihsan Perdana Sdn Bhd, whose Director Shamus Anuar is also cited in the warrant.

Criminal Breach of Trust

A second, alternative draft charge was being worked on by the Attorney General, which Sarawak Report has also obtained.

The second charge relates to the same act on the same day, but refers more specifically to the Prime Minister’s position of trust with regard to the company SRC. In English it reads:

“Secret

The first draft of the charge (alternative)

That you on 26.12.2014 in AmIslamic Bank Berhad, AmBank Group Building, No. 55 Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory as an agent, as Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Malaysia and Special Adviser (Emeritus Advisor) Company SRC International Sdn Bhd which in that capacity, is entrusted with the control of the fund company, has criminal breach of trust funds, namely dishonestly disposing of SRC International Sdn Bhd Company amounted RM27 juta to your account AmPrivate Banking-1MY no. 2112022011880 via coupling Mentari Sdn Bhd Corporate and Company Ihsan Perdana Sdn Bhd. Therefore you committed the offense and punishable taken of Section 409 of the Penal Code, read together with section 34 of the Penal Code

Penalties:
Sabit errors can be jailed for a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 20 years and with whipping, and a fine.

Sacked!

A close insider has now confirmed to Sarawak Report that Patail had arrived at his office on Monday morning expecting to finalise the extremely sensitive charges he was preparing against the Prime Minister, resulting from the investigations of the multi-agency task force into 1MDB.

“He was finalising it. He went to his office and found he could not go in. Ali Bin Hamsa, the Chief Secretary to the Government, was waiting and he told him [the Attorney General, Abdul Gani Patail] that he was dismissed. He could not even get his papers.”

Within hours of this secret drama at the heart of government, as all Malaysia knows, the Prime Minister had moved to effect what has been described as an attempted coup d’etat.

The head of Special Branch was removed, the Deputy Prime Minister was dumped and four members of the investigating Parliamentary Accounts Committee were elevated without choice to positions in Cabinet and its work was declared suspended.

Other known cabinet critics of the the 1MDB scandal have also been unceremoniously dismissed by the Prime Minister.

It has been also been announced that tomorrow’s meeting of the UMNO Supreme Council, representing the key leadership of the ruling party, has also been cancelled by the Prime Minister.

Now all Malaysia knows why the Prime Minister has moved to sack the countries top legal officers and top politicians.

In an irony of perfect timing the Prime Minister is now seeking to use the visit of Britain’s David Cameron as an endorsement of his unconstitutional move to hijack the State of Malaysia.

Customer Gets Shouted At And Throwned Out by Crazed Grabcar Driver

So I booked this GRABCAR SFY7104K about 4am this morning to go home because my gf told me there’s some SG50 promo. For those of you who’ve used this, you would know it shows a green check and “Enjoy $5 off your ride” once you enter the code. Well, I waited, what was supposed to be “5min” but kept changing and extending, because this Winson Tong Kar San took God knows what kinda route from Kallang to Ubi.

After boarding the cab for about 5min, or when we found ourselves in KPE, this a*hole started a conversation with me asking if I’d gotten the sms for the promo. I told him as a matter-of-fact-ly I didn’t. Then he said “oh then I would have to charge you full fare” and I said he couldn’t because it showed on my app that I’ve entered the code. He goes on saying that this was “instructed by his company” and “will give me a CHOICE – either i pay full fare or he drops me off”, raising his voice at me this whole time. I replied, “in the middle of KPE?? and after me waiting so long for you? couldn’t you have asked me this the moment I boarded? what kind of choice is this?”.

So, in midst of us arguing over this, he got us out of KPE AND STOPPED BY THE SIDE OF GEYLANG, telling me to get off. I refused and said I would call the police if he dropped me off there (Note: for those of you who don’t know the gravity of the matter, Geylang is NOT the place for a girl to be by the side of the road esp at those hours). He just continued shouting at me so I dialled for the police. I believe the person who picked my call up recorded his shouts in the background as I was making this report. At this point, he gets off his car SHOUTING PROFANITIES and walked to my passenger door, flinging it open. I was pretty sure if I wasn’t on the phone with the Police, he would have dragged me out (body language is a big tell).

While waiting for the Police to arrive, he went on hurling more insults and threats in both English and Hokkien such as calling me names (obscenities and not), insinuating I didn’t have money to pay and claiming he isn’t scared of me and would “play” with me because he’s got time. Also, he let slipped that HE’D SEEN THE PROMO CODE WAS ENTERED. Most of these I recorded on my phone.

Lo and behold, when the Police came, this a*hole cuts in front of me, acted all meek and good citizen, claiming to them he’d told me nicely to get off because I COULDN’T PROVE I’D THE PROMO SMS but I refused. Thankfully I’d recorded how and what he was yelling at me and not look like a total bitch, trying to turn the tables. To be honest, I was actually amused at how different he acted in mere seconds and regretted not video-ing the WHOLE incident. To top it off, he actually thanked the Police profusely when the matter was “concluded” at that spot. *rolls eyes* Talk about “bullying the weak”, or trying to.

I’ve been calling GrabTaxi’s hotline wanting to lodge a complaint about this guy’s attitude and how he’s repeatedly COMPROMISED MY SAFETY. Guess what? Nobody ever picks up the call. This is no wonder why this a*hole isn’t worried about being rude to his passengers. I’d written a “very bad” experience review for him and an email was sent to me claiming a customer service officer will get in touch with me, but, nope.

IMO, if GrabTaxi cannot handle the volume it’s generating with a promo IN LINE WITH SG’S BIG CELEBRATION, jamming its systems and causing such technical glitches which result in the inconveniences to both its passengers and drivers, then don’t even try.

Malay Naval Diver Stays Strong Despite NDP Rehearsals During Fasting Month

Being a Naval Diver, CPL Mohamed Firdauz Bin Mohamed Ali is no stranger to tough training.

This time, however, he had the added challenge of training while fasting for Ramadan.

“The first few rehearsals were tough,” said CPL Firdauz, “the only way to cool off was to pour water over my head during breaks.”

But his peers and trainers’ concern for him kept him going – they prepared additional bottles of water for him to cool off, as well as refreshments for when he breaks fast.

PAP In Panic Mode, Loss Of Power Inevitable

The unnecessary changes to the boundaries of electoral constituencies is confirmation of PAP’s loss of confidence.

Contrary to propaganda, PAP NEVER resolved any issues because it has not addressed the root cause of our problems, ie mindless population increase to generate ‘growth’.

PAP’s ‘solution’ – increase the frequency of trains and number of buses, ramp up housing, increase CPF Minimum Sum amount and Medishield premiums, hike petrol duty after oil prices have collapsed, promise more hospital beds with a disproportionate increase of foreigners, etc. If that’s considered solving our issues, then ordinary Singaporeans can replace our ministers at a fraction of their salaries.

Instead of belatedly biting the bullet, PAP assumes it has the luxury of time to engage in propaganda, shamelessly exploit LKY’s death for sympathy votes and return tax dollars in the form of GST vouchers to buy our votes. What a joke.

PAP runs Singapore as a large corporation and is able to attract like-minded greedy candidates who are paid almost $200,000 annually for a part-time job. Loyalists are destined to become CEOs/directors of government-linked companies despite sleeping on the job or spouting half truths for years/decades. Eg, ex DPM Wong Kan Seng – chairman of Temasek-owned Ascendas-Singbridge, ex minister Lim Boon Heng – chairman of Temasek Holdings, etc.

If ex ministers (excluding Aljuneid GRC losers) did not belong to the jiak liao bee category, why can’t they stand on their own two feet and join the private sector? Why are they still dependent on tax dollars after leaving politics?

Most PAP loyalists have also been parachuted into million-dollar top management positions without any relevant experience, such as SMRT paper general CEO and (sinking) NOL paper general Ng Yat Chung. For decades, PAP has been ‘promoting’ thousands of its loyalists based more on guan xi than merit and members of the public have been taken for a ride on Singapore’s ‘meritocratic’ system.

In the real world, political affiliation has its rewards, such as PAP supporters being appointed town council agents with contracts that are worth millions. Likewise for an opposition party but on a much smaller scale. (residents are shortchanged when winning contracts is dependent on political affiliation)

When PAP wields absolute power and is unaccountable to the people, its supporters enjoy the privileges of political affiliation. But what are the consequences when the reverse happens and it no longer controls parliament? Such a thought must be giving PAP sleepless nights.

A huge loss will mean PAP will no longer be able to ‘feed’ thousands of its fair-weather supporters, many who are multi millionaires. This will eventually lead to a further decline in support followed by its eventual fall due to an unstoppable loss of confidence.

PAP did not abandon the use of propaganda and bullying tactics after the last election; it did not tackle the population issue head on. Its incompetence is now obvious to an increasing number of voters but it is still using propaganda to prevent the inevitable loss of power. The old PAP dog doesn’t seem to be able to learn any new tricks till today and isn’t even aware the clock had started ticking in 2011.

PAP fears it will be in deep trouble should opposition party members become MPs. Parliamentary questions on transparency will fly thick and fast for the first time in our 50-year history and whatever the revelations, PAP will also likely be history. The last time we saw a real debate – PM Lee and Goh Chok Tong kena grilled by JBJ and Chiam See Tong in 1988. Video link We need more real debates as they will benefit Singapore.

That PAP is in panic mode has been confirmed by the arbitrary redrawing of electoral boundaries. But its loss of power is inevitable because it has never addressed the root cause of our problems since 2011.
