  • Don’t Have To Stoop Low To Disagree With Policies, Only Allah Can Judge

Don’t Have To Stoop Low To Disagree With Policies, Only Allah Can Judge

By all means, we will have our diagreements with a certain group of Muslim politicians from a certain political party, but that doesn’t mean that we can freely label them as the ‘enemy of Islam’ or involve their family members in this fracas, or even question their Islam-hood.

Diagree with their policies, but don’t hate the person. Don’t criticise their family members. Because Islam made you mature, Islam made you better.

How better are you then if you start to badmouth our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters publicly online?

If you really have to disagree with the policies, then vote wisely. Every vote counts.

No human is above another, and Allah is above all humans.

    Wallahu’alam.

  • Yaacob Ibrahim Kutuk Politik Kotor Yang Burukkan Imejnya

Yaacob Ibrahim Kutuk Politik Kotor Yang Burukkan Imejnya

Menteri Bertanggungjawab bagi Ehwal Masyarakat Islam, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim mengutuk politik kotor yang memburuk-burukkan imej beliau.

Ini setelah kini tersebar gambar beliau kononnya memegang sebotol minuman keras semasa satu acara masyarakat.

BOTOL MENGANDUNGI KONFETI, BUKAN MINUMAN KERAS

  • Sorotan Calon Wanita Harungi Tempoh Pilihan Raya

Sorotan Calon Wanita Harungi Tempoh Pilihan Raya

  • Voter Gives Chee Soon Juan Vote Of Confidence, Heartfelt Note Of Hope And S$100 For Ice Cream

Voter Gives Chee Soon Juan Vote Of Confidence, Heartfelt Note Of Hope And S$100 For Ice Cream

Trending on Facebook: A voter has supposedly written a heartfelt note and pledged a $100 donation to the Singapore Democratic Party’s Chee Soon Juan.

    chee-soon-juan-sdp-donation

The note is believed to have been written after Chee gave a rousing rally speech at Choa Chu Kang Stadium on Thursday night, Sept. 3, his first in 15 years.

The note referenced the buying of Häagen-Dazs ice cream — a topic brought up by Chee at his rally — where he gave an anecdote about how his penny-pinching ways to keep up with the standard of living in Singapore meant that he cannot buy ice cream for his children.

This was what he said during his rally speech:

“I know what it feels like to keep counting your dollars and trying to cut down on expenses. When you need to see a doctor, buy that extra packet of milk, choose a better quality cooking oil, you are always checking the price to see if you can afford it. I understand.

Sometimes I go to Giant to buy groceries, and once in a while, I want to buy some ice cream for my children. So I go to the freezer and I take a look at the prices and immediately I discount Ben & Jerry’s, Häagen-Dazs. I look at Wall’s ice cream and I think of getting a tub. And my wife comes along and says, ‘Maybe it is better if you get it if it’s on sale.’ I know. I know what it is like to count your every dollar. At times like this, the worst thing to have are people who are out of touch with reality and make policies that affect you and how you live. [Applause]

If they don’t understand, if they don’t understand the difficulties that you face, then how can they help you?”

  • Singaporeans Should Give Foreigner Samir Neji A Baptism Of Fire This GE

Singaporeans Should Give Foreigner Samir Neji A Baptism Of Fire This GE

PAP just supported the 1st New Citizen GE2015 Candidate for Bukit Batok SMC – a first in Singapore if we did not consider PRC-affiliated Sun Xueling in Punggol Pasir Ris GRC under PAP.

Samir Salim Neji an independent, new Singapore Citizen from India is standing for Bukit Batok SMC against PAP incumbent and the SDP challenger.

Originally disqualified by the electoral officers as he lacked the required assentors, he managed to get into the election at the last minute with help from PAP’s generous foreigner integration team.

Not sure whether this is for the interest of Bukit Batok residents or for PAP to dilute the votes, especially after the mother of all pests outbreak incident at neglected Bukit Batok Hills where a huge rats infestation became a national concern.

New citizen Samir’s objective in this election is also not clear as he has a newly created pink IC and only received citizenship recently, so he probably has strong ties to India. Is he going to be the role model for future new citizens and other foreign talents to form their own political party to represent the different India Indians, Pinos and PRCs and more?

Was the interest of Bukit Batok residents, who just suffered and recovered from a rats nightmare, in any way a factor in the PAP integration committee’s support for Samir?

Definitely with this, more foreign talents and new citizens will take up politics and even form their own parties to represent their foreign interests.

    Majulah New Citizens!
