Kind Young Couple Distributed Tarts So That Others In Long Food Queue Could Break Fast

    *This is worth sharing
Masyallah, this young couple (they are siblings by the way) here deserves a shoutout. A positive example to follow.
We were at coffeebean Suntec and its very near our break fast time. The q was super long and the staffs were doing their best to handle the orders.

Then it’s time to break our fast and many were still in the q.

This young chap and his partner already got a seat and his meals served. Most of us would just start diggin in and be oblivious to our surrounding. But this guy here with a box of tarts, distributed it to the people in the q so that they can break their fast on time.
Just for the info, when a Muslim is fasting and its time to break fast, we have to try our best to break it on time.

And this gentleman here really made our day. An example of a good Muslim and the spirit of Ramadhan is brought alive by sharing his food. He did what not many will do… They are a fine young generation. May Allah bestowe upon them health and blessings… Thank you so much…

  • Kamarul – The Bus Captain That Shelters His Passengers From Rain

Kamarul – The Bus Captain That Shelters His Passengers From Rain

He always fretted whenever he saw his passengers who were caught in the rain run into the air-conditioned bus.

They could catch a cold and fall sick, SBS Transit bus captain Kamarul often thought.

Five months ago, he chose to do something about that.

Mr Kamarul, who has been driving for about a year, would stand between the bus and bus stop with an umbrella to shelter those without one.

His kind acts warmed the hearts of those he helped as well as witnesses, who shared it on SongHe’s Good Man Good Deeds Good Rice Facebook page.

In an interview with Lianhe Wanbao in September, Mr Kamarul, 29, said he was inspired by his mother’s advice.

“My mother once met a kind bus captain who alighted from the bus to help carry her shopping bag after he noticed how heavy it was,” said Mr Kamarul.

“When she found out I was going to become a bus captain too, she reminded me to be patient with the passengers and help whenever I can.”

He added: “If my passengers can benefit from that little action of mine, why not?”

Father Of Sick Son Cannot Thank Grabcar Driver Enough For Not Charging Fare

    Ordinary People with Extraordinary Heart

She came & she took us home. She knows we were stretched out to the max after the long waiting game at the doctor with my little one. Upon reaching the destination, she politely rejected the fare.

I was adamant & told myself I have to pay up this lady as she’s definately working for a living & there’s nothing like “free lunch” in Singapore.

But when she humbly said, “It’s alright, just take good care of the little one & pray for my well being”

I was taken aback… lost for that 10-20secs or so..
    I can’t believe what I heard..
And no, I’ve never been in this situation before.
(only heard stories of good drivers on the internet & it has to be a one in a million chance to really stumble upon them)

But tonight I became part of the stories, this is as real as it gets & no amount of “Thank You” are ever enough to bless her.

To Mdm Rokila, may Allah bless you with good health & reward your kindness here till hereafter. Aamiin.

Ps: Do share & spread the love u’olls ?

  • Give Free Food To Foreign Workers Because #itfeelsgoodtodogood

Give Free Food To Foreign Workers Because #itfeelsgoodtodogood

Was at Starbucks this afternoon to get coffee for tennis-weary parents when I saw the counter staff clearing away all the food as they were closing.

I asked if they would let me take it away for migrant workers and they sweetly agreed. So they handed me 2 bags of pastries, muffins and sandwiches (all very kindly warmed up) and I was lucky enough to find workers right down the road.

The workers were delighted of course, and as I turned back after handing them the food I saw them all happily snacking, sitting on the pavement.

Am going to try and do this every Saturday at 4pm (closing time for this Starbucks) if I can. And any of you who are at a food-bearing venue near closing time, do try it because ‪#‎itfeelsgoodtodogood‬.
