    Mark This Date 31 Dec 2024, Can Take MRT Into JB

    JOHOR BARU – Singaporeans will be able to hop on an MRT train in Woodlands to cross the border to Johor Baru by Dec 31, 2024.

    The Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link can carry up to 10,000 passengers an hour in each direction between Johor’s Bukit Chagar terminus station and the Singapore terminus in Woodlands North, where it will join the upcoming Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL).

    It is slated to greatly improve transport connectivity between Singapore and Malaysia, providing an alternative option for reducing congestion at border crossings.

    The new starting date for the line was announced in a joint statement on Monday (July 31) after the 13th meeting of the Malaysia-Singapore Joint Ministerial Committee for Iskandar Malaysia.

    Membawa kereta sorong ke dalam pengangkutan awam mungkin sudah menjadi kebiasaan, tetapi membawa buaian anak dan menggantungnya di dalam MRT ternyata bukan suatu yang lumrah dilihat.

    Dalam sebuah laporan mStar, para penumpang terkejut apabila seorang ibu bertindak menggantung buaian anaknya pada senggayut pemegang tempat berdiri.

    Gambar tindakan pelik ibu kanak-kanak itu turut menular dan dikecam pengguna media sosial baru-baru ini.

    Seorang pengguna Facebook, Nana Abd Rashid, seperti dipetik mStar, berkongsi status mengenai peristiwa itu yang disifatkan sebagai amat memalukan.

    “Alahai kak, awat tak bawak tilam, toto skali naik MRT. Tolonglah kak, jangan bagi malu. Anak-anak tu kalau boleh pantau sikit, jaga harta benda awam bersama.

    “Boleh pula dia bawa buai sangkut dalam MRT. Keselamatan anak tanggungjawab mak bapa ,kalau la emergency brake, tercampak anak, confirm viral salahkan MRT… alahai…,” tulisnya di Facebook.

    Menurut mStar, Transit Aliran Massa (MRT) menyifatkan tindakan ibu itu sebagai amat membahayakan.

    Pihak tersebut dalam satu kenyataan turut menasihati semua penumpang supaya menjaga keselamatan apabila menggunakan perkhidmatan itu dan tidak merosakkan kemudahan disediakan.

    A lady carry her infant board a train at City Hall. People went in and occupied the empty seat. No seat left for the lady carrying her infant. The unicorn in the reserved seating dress nicely choose to ignore. Instead, the guy with the tattoo have the biggest heart. Stood up and gave his seat to the lady carrying her infant.

    For anyone who will say why take trian, Oklah next time parents with infant don’t take train ok. Smrt must put no parent with babies/kids allow. See troublesome.

    Note to self never ever judge a book by its cover.

    Police Currently Investigating Xinmin Primary School “Beginning” Teacher

    Remember the video about the man who got caught taking an upskirt video of a lady on the mrt? He is actually found to be Mr David James Chua a teacher at Xinmin Primary School with the help of internet savvy individuals. A representative from the school Mr Clement Lee has confirmed that David is the man caught on video and that he is also a “beginning teacher” at the said school.

    If you didn’t know, the 2 minutes plus clip shows a man using his mobile phone on board a train and later placing the phone – with the camera facing up – at one end of his duffel bag. He then lowers the bag and briefly moves it close to the legs of a woman in a skirt standing behind him.

    The incident happened along the Circle Line from MacPherson station to Paya Lebar station. A police report has been lodged and investigations are ongoing.  PE teacher is also currently on leave from school.

    Ape nak jadi ni siol? And now most people will have this question in their minds.. can we  trust the teachers to guide our children in schools?

    Infamous MRT Molester Arrested By Officers From Hougang NPC

    Remember a recent FB post which went viral and gained substantial traction amongst netizens? It was regarding a male subject believed to have been involved in a case of Outrage of Modesty onboard the MRT train on 1st July 2017.

    Today, Police received a tip off from a member of public. Acting on the information, officers from Hougang NPC sprang into action and combed the vicinity of Hougang Central. Their efforts paid off as they managed to locate and detain the male subject. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest, and is currently assisting in Police investigations.

    HG NPC assures all our residents that we will continue do whatever it takes to keep the community safe; and bring perpetrators of the law to justice.
