Muslims Must Capitalise On Economic Leverage To Condemn Israeli Oppression Against Palestine

From time to time, as a community, we tend to react when we feel There’s injustice done to certain groups of people we feel are oppressed.

These may include the Rohingyans, Palestinians, Syrians etc.

We do this by for E.g. Making Facebook postings on the issue. We share articles and memes portraying the injustices. We also start online petitions.

These help in creating awareness of the issue. And it is a positive thing that we at least show empathy for our fellow brethren in faith that’s going through severe hardship.

Beyond awareness there is little, methinks, by way of impact.

I think collectively we do have some leverage. Economic leverage. What we can do for e.g. Is to join the BDS movement worldwide. In a nutshell, the global movement encourages boycotting of Israeli goods by way of peaceful protest against the oppression of the Palestinian people.

Next time we shop, take a little time looking at the product barcode. Do not purchase items worth the barcodes beginning with 729 and 871.

No need for petitions or writing letters to embassies. These are generally ignored.

Let our wallets do the protesting. God willing it could lead to significant changes. BDS has scored some significant victories along the way.

    Let’s join the movement.

At least on Yaumul Qiyamah we can stand in front of Allah azzawajal and say ‘Oh Allah. I am very weak. I’m swimming in sin. I at least try to help
My Palestinian brothers in this small way. Please forgive me.’

Remember that Allah azzawajal is al Ghafoor and ar Raheem. May He look upon us with Mercy and may He accept our deeds n forgive us our shortcomings n transgressions.

    Wallahualam.

  • Jufrie Mahmood: Allowing War Criminal To Visit Singapore A Sign Of PAP’s Arrogance

Jufrie Mahmood: Allowing War Criminal To Visit Singapore A Sign Of PAP’s Arrogance

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF PAP ARROGANCE! In quick succession! Soon after insulting the sensivities of a majority of Singaporeans with their SYONAN Debacle the PAP continues to insult us by hosting and honouring a WAR CRIMINAL in the next couple of days.

This murderer of men, women and children who hails from a country that has poisoned the minds of Singapore leaders to regard our neighbours, especially those up north, as our sworn enemies, is setting his foot on this blessed land of ours.

It is also due to this poison that Malays are being discriminated and our loyalty to this nation being questioned for the past 5 decades. It is also due to this that we have to allocate billions and billions of dollars of our hard earned money year after to face imaginary enemies.

When will the PAP come to their senses that they have been conned big time?

A criminal with such a murderous record should never ever be allowed to step into this sacred land and given red carpet treatment at that. The PAP is so arrogant and insensitive to the feelings of decent human beings, thinking that they are now all too powerful that they can continue to thumb their nose to whoever disagrees with them.

Actually we Singaporeans are all brothers, ready to defend and give our lives for the nation. It is the Iraelis who have divided us by sowing distrust among us.

The racist PAP swallowed the Israeli poison hook, line and sinker.

  • Mufti Wilayah & JAKIM Tolak Khidmat Valet Doa Sebagai Mengelirukan Dan Tidak Mengikut Syariat

Mufti Wilayah & JAKIM Tolak Khidmat Valet Doa Sebagai Mengelirukan Dan Tidak Mengikut Syariat

Pernahkah anda mendengar tentang ‘Valet Doa’?

BERITAMediacorp mendapati, harganya bukan murah.

PENGASAS VALET DOA MAHU TERUSKAN KHIDMAT WALAU DIHENTAM

Dalam tulisannya di Facebook, pengasas Valet Doa, Nasrin Harin mengakui dia “bukanlah Ustaz, jauh sekali alim. Apatah lagi ulamak”.
