Fake Diplomas And Degrees From Real Malaysian Universities Being Sold At RM1,000 To RM3,000

A syndicate operating in Puchong, Selangor, has been selling fake academic scrolls to the public, according to an expose by the China Press (2 Oct).

A reporter from the newspaper went undercover as a potential buyer and contacted the syndicate that had been blatantly promoting its services on Facebook.

The syndicate is offering fake certificates from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and SEGi College.

According to China Press, a fake diploma scroll from UiTM is sold at RM1,000 and a forged degree scroll at RM2,000. It charges RM2,000 for a phony diploma, RM3,000 for a forged degree or a fake Master’s Degree from SEGi.

The syndicate claimed that the fake certificates are bilingually produced and they bore the seal of the institution as well as the signature from the chancellor.

Customers can choose from 30 programmes available at the universities and they will receive a scroll plus a transcript in two days. The fabrication process only takes two hours and the package will be delivered a day after via mail.

Customers are warned that the fake certificates are only good for employment in the private sector. “This is because government departments are strict, they will look into everything. You should know that your fake academic qualifications are not in the system, since the certificate you’re holding is fake,” the syndicate said.

  • Tahfiz Fire: Mothers Of Victims Accuse School Of Hoarding Donations

Tahfiz Fire: Mothers Of Victims Accuse School Of Hoarding Donations

Several mothers of the victims of the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah fire on Sept 14 have complained that they have yet to receive their share of public donations given through the school after the tragedy. Speaking to FMT on condition of anonymity, they demanded that the headmaster come clean on whether they would ever receive their money. One of them said the headmaster, Muhammad Zahid Mahmood, had told them during their first meeting with him that the school would keep 30% of the donations and the rest would go to the families of the 21 boys who died as well as the families of those who were injured and traumatised.

That meeting took place on Sept 22. However, according to the woman, the parents were told on the next day that they would get 30% and the school would keep 70%. “But we haven’t received a single sen,” she said. She said she got even more angry when the headmaster didn’t turn up at a meeting he was supposed to have with the parents last Saturday night. He sent a representative instead. “Apparently he said he couldn’t make it because he had to meet with the fire department,” she said. “What’s he doing meeting with the fire department at night?”

Another mother claimed that the school would routinely keep money donated to its pupils even before the fire. She said the school would often organise visits to the prime minister and other notables during Hari Raya and other festive events. “These people would give our children money, but the school would let our children have only the small change and hold on to the bigger amounts for safe keeping, or so we’re told,” she said. “Now that our children are gone, where is the money?”

Another woman said it wasn’t the school that informed them of the tragedy, but one of the mothers, who sent out a Whatsapp message at 6am, hours after the fire broke out. “The headmaster is in that Whatsapp group as well,” she said. Less than a week after the fire, Zahid told the press that the school had collected almost RM1 million in donations. He said the school planned to give “what it can” to the parents of the victims. When this was brought to the attention of one of the mothers, she said she had heard people talk about it but had not read the report.

She also claimed that although the parents had been notified that the school would stop collecting money yesterday, she could clearly see someone standing outside the school’s management building with a box for donations. “I wish you could somehow get the word across to generous people that if they want to donate money or anything else to the parents to give it directly to them because many of them really need that help,” she told FMT. Several attempts to contact Zahid have failed.

  • Case Of Overcharging At Yong Tau Foo Stall In Nu Central’s Foodcourt, Kuala Lumpur

Case Of Overcharging At Yong Tau Foo Stall In Nu Central’s Foodcourt, Kuala Lumpur

BERHATI-HATI MAKAN DI FOOD COURT NU SENTRAL.

Lepas settle pos barang dkt pejabat pos di brickfields.. Ank² nak dinner yg ringan² je..

So aku bwk lah anak² pergi makan dkt food court Quizinn dkt Nu Sentral sbb dah dekat n sebelah je. Lagipun ada mcm² pilihan dkt situ.

Masuk ni dah 2-3x makan dkt sini..sbb anak2 suka mkn dkt yong tau foo. Makan pun stakat mee, crab stick, fish ball n prawn je. Selebihnya hirup sup panas². Sebelum ni.. wlaupun diaorg bg resit siyes..aku tak pernah check. Ye lah.. Mknan cam tu kan ada standard harga dia.

Tapi harini sbb ada 2-3 orang depan aku tu..mknan diaorg tak siap rebus lagi n turn aku kena bayar. Sementara nk tunggu turn aku siap..aku belek² lah resit tu..

Ehh..harga actual tu tak sama. Aku pun tanya lah dkt budak² cashier tu..

Aku: “Kenapa harga ni (yg warna kuning) tak sama harga?”

Cashier: Owh..harga ni dh include GST.

Aku: GST?? Knp nak charge gst dkt atas ni? Bwh ni dh ada gst.

Cashier : Smua harga dkt resit sama kak. Dia siap print 2-3 resit lain tunjuk bukti. Mmg harga actual tak sama.

Aku: Oooo..skrg smua customer u kasi tipu lah? Sy bkn bodoh tau u mau tipu. Sy pn org meniaga jgk. Mgkin org lain tak perasan u buat mcm ni.

Cashier: itu harga dh betul. Ikut system gst.

Aku pun ambik mknan dh siap.. Aku hantar dkt ank². Pastu aku citer dgn asben n terangkan balik apa budak cashier tu ckp dkt aku. Kedai ni penipu. N mostly orang melayu kita bnyk mkn dkt sini.

So.. Asben aku tengok resit n trus pergi tanya balik dkt cashier tu. Aku tak pergi pun. sbb sakit hati dgn jawapan bodoh diaorg tu. Lagi bagus cara ank² makan.

Asben aku tanya.. Ini harga apasal xde sama? Dia cakap lain pulak. Katanya yg sebelah tu harga lama.. Yg kanan tu harga baru. Asben aku ckp korg jangan nak main² harga pulak. Tetiba harga baru lama.

Cashier siap cakap..takpe lah bang, boleh complain dkt management. Saya dh complain bnyak kali dah pasal POS system harga ni tapi takde tindakan. Maknanya selama ni diaorg meniaga diaorg mmg buat krja² cenggini lah. Bodoh²kan cust.

Asben pergi dkt ofis management n complain. Management siap ckp..takde pun budak kedai tu complain apa² pasal system harga mcm ni.

Last² budak dekat management pergi balik kedai tu n masuk jmpa cashier n cashier pulangkan rm5.20.. Asben aku ckp apesal refund bnyk.. Katanya Management suruh pulangkan duit yg 2 item tu.

Isu dia bukan lah aku berkira yg sen² tu. Tapi benda tak betul..cakap dgn aku lain pastu cakap ngn asben aku lain. Mmg lah aku marah klu peniaga tipu org mcm ni. Berapa ramai dh diaorg ni kencing pengguna dgn alasan GST.

Ini baru 1 kedai. Belum kedai² lain yg ada dkt situ. Katanya management yg set POS system tu. Itu lantak korang lah nak salahkan sesama sendiri. Bukan hal kitaorg pn. Itu pun belum tentu ID GST tu betul. Silap haribulan rekaan sendiri.

Yang aku tahu habis dah tanggungjawab aku bila aku kongsi dgn kawan² lain supaya check resit setiap kali buat pembelian. Sbb aku kesian jugak dkt pekerja² yg dalam Nu Sentral tu mostly malays n diaorg yg slalu dan kerap makan dkt food court tu.

  • Malaysia Shamelessly Claimed That Indonesia’s Kuda Warisan Is Their Own Traditional Costume

Malaysia Shamelessly Claimed That Indonesia’s Kuda Warisan Is Their Own Traditional Costume

Miss Grand Malaysia Organisation has revealed the costume our Miss Grand Malaysia 2017 will be wearing at the Miss Grand International pageant – and it has some serious horsepower!

Called the Kuda Warisan, it was picked as the winner among 50 entries in a contest organised by the Miss Grand Malaysia Organisation. Kuda Warisan was designed by a Malaysian named Hana Yaakob.

According to the organisation, the costume is inspired by the Javanese community residing in the northern state of Johor in the early 20th century, where the migration of the said community brought along its unique culture, including the Kuda Kepang dance.

The Kuda Kepang dance was usually performed during festivities, and in 1971, the Johor government acknowledged the dance as a symbolic sign of unity and diversity.

The one-of-a-kind costume will be worn by Sanjeda John, Miss Grand Malaysia 2017.

The Kuda Warisan will be going up against 80 other national costumes from all over the world for the Best in National Costume award, which, by the way, also includes a US$1,000 (RM4,200) cash prize from Miss Grand International Organisation.

The grand finale of Miss Grand International 2017 will take place at the Vinpearl Resort in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam on 25 October.

The winner will be walking away with US$40,000 (RM169,100) and will become the face of the organisation’s “Stop the War and Violence” worldwide campaign.

So, here’s to hoping that Sanjeda John’s horse will make it to the finish line first.
