Islamic State Makes Threat Against Britain’s Four-Year-Old Prince George, Royal Family Will Not Be Spared

LONDON: Islamic State militants have allegedly made threats against Britain’s four-year-old Prince George, British media reported on Sunday (Oct 29).

Through encrypted instant-messaging app Telegram, a photo of the preschooler was shared with the message: “Even the royal family will not be left alone”.

The photo allegedly shows the boy standing in front of his South London School, Thomas’s Battersea with the message, “School starts early”.

The Daily Star reported that the encrypted transmission also had Arabic words which translated to: “When war comes with the melody of bullets, we descend on disbelief, desiring retaliation.”

Cybersecurity expert Barry Spielman told the Daily Star that “these threats are to be taken seriously” according to his intelligence.

“This threat to Prince George is chilling,” he added.

It is not the first time the British royal family has been threatened by the Islamic State. Last month, an IS fighter believed to be from Singapore challenged Prince Harry in a propaganda video to “come and fight us if you’re man enough”.

In 2015, IS threatened the queen in the runup to celebrations marking 70 years since the end of World War II.

Telegram is believed to be popular with Islamic State sympathisers, who use chatrooms with hundreds of members, besides holding private conversations.

In July, Indonesian authorities blocked access to some Telegram channels saying that some forums were “full of radical and terrorist propaganda”.

Dr Zakir Naik, Labelled As A Controversial Preacher, Was Charged With Radicalism And Insulting Other Religions

India has filed radicalisation charges against controversial Muslim preacher Zakir Naik, who is currently on the run from the Indian authorities, amid strident defence by Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) that the cleric was deliberately accused of being a terrorist.

Dr Zakir was charged in absentia under India’s Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act for heading an “unlawful association”, the Times of Indian reported on Friday (Oct 27).

The founder of Mumbai-based Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) was also charged with inciting youth to take up terror acts and join global terror groups such as the Islamic State (IS).

The charge sheet prepared by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) against Dr Zakir which ran into “thousands of pages” noted that the televangelist has “deliberately insulted the religious beliefs of Hindus, Christians and Islamic sects.”

The NIA also said Dr Zakir had delivered more than 1,500 public lectures or talks in India and abroad since 1994 and that his public speeches had on a number of occasions “led to communal tension… creating serious law and order situations”.

“Naik was not considered an Islamic scholar, although he had memorised the Quran and Hadith,” the NIA said in the charge sheet, adding: “His knowledge of Islam was very poor”.

In the charge sheet, witnesses also told the NIA that they were previously influenced by Dr Zakir’s oratory at IRF’s “peace conferences” in 2007 and 2008.

Dr Zakir, who is a fugitive in India, allegedly fled to Saudi Arabia after the Indian authorities started investigating him and the IRF for alleged terror propaganda.

He has previously voiced support for Al Qaeda jihadists and Osama bin Laden and, in a 2006 lecture, he called for “every Muslim to be a terrorist”. The British and Canadian governments have banned the him from entering their country because of his inflammatory speeches.

The cleric, however, has denied allegations that he is a terrorist and said he is ready to go to court, provided it is at an international or Malaysian court, to prove his innocence.

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi revealed in April that Dr Zakir has had permanent residence status in Malaysia for five years. He has been welcomed by some senior clerics in Malaysia and PAS leaders, and met Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak last year.

However, the preacher is also a central figure in a March 1 civil lawsuit filed by 19 Malaysian human rights activists against the federal government, which it accused of failing to protect the country from Dr Zakir, who they claim to be a security threat.

Despite the charges against Dr Zakir, PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has come to the cleric’s defence.

“For Muslim individuals like Dr Zakir Naik, even when they won by using arguments and not weapons, they are considered terrorists because their arguments cannot be countered,” Mr Hadi said in an opinion piece on Islamophobia published Friday in his party’s mouthpiece HarakahDaily.

Mr Hadi had compared the allegations against Dr Zakir to the act on Babylonian king Nimrod, who was said to have sentenced Prophet Abraham to be burned on a stake after he lost a debate against the latter.

Earlier this week, PAS had wanted Malaysia to refuse India’s request demanding the return of Dr Zakir to facilitate investigation for alleged terror activities.

The Islamist Opposition party’s information chief Nasrudin Hassan had said the televangelist was a well-respected individual and that claims that the latter was radicalising or preaching terrorism was untrue.

Luahan Seorang Wanita: Adab Bercakap Dengan Suami Orang, 5 Perkara Kena Jaga!

Bila dah berkawan rapat ada yang terover dalam pergaulan. Atas sebab inilah wanita yang berstatus isteri ini menegur. Adab berkomunikasi dengan suami orang / lelaki bukan mahram. (Medium: SMS, telegram, perbualan telefon, WhatsApp dan yang sewaktu dengannya)

Dah lama saya nak tegur kaum saya sendiri berkenaan perkara di atas. Kesabaran, sangka baik dan menyerahkan semuanya kepada Allah memang menjadi perkara yg biasa si isteri buat…Tapi itu tak bermakna ,dia boleh dipijak-pijak.

Teguran saya kali ini ditujukan terus buat kaum wanita yang masih belum berkahwin, tidak lagi berkahwin, apatah lagi yang sudah berkahwin.

Adab 1: Jaga lenggok bahasa
Tak perlu guna ayat-ayat manja seperti anda bercakap dengan bakal suami sendiri.

Adab 2: Jaga penggunaan emoticon
Tak sesuai digunakan langsung. Apa perasaan anda kalau wanita lain guna emoticon ini pada suami anda? Come on, this is common sense ok?

Adab 3: Usah berlebih-lebih
Lebih-lebih ambil tahu perihal suami wanita lain. Ada kala berlebih dari segi ‘kalau bersembang/whatsapp dengan si suami amboi panjangnya berjela, kemain berbunga macam orang bercinta. Panggil SAYANG la…hubby la….jari tu nak kena ketuk dgn senduk ke ?

Adab 4: Jika nak bergambar, jaga jarak
Bab ni memang sensitif apatah lagi apabila suami seorang ‘public figure’. Tak salah bergambar. Kami si isteri faham kerjaya suami yang menjadi perhatian dan idola ramai.

Hanya jaga adab ketika bergambar. Kalau bergambar berdua sahaja tetapi sampai bahu bertemu bahu, dada rapat ke dada…apa kes? Dah lama hidup ke? Saya tak salahkan si lelaki saja. Kita wanita jaga lah diri. Syok sangat sampai boleh jadi fitnah, kan berdosa tu?

Adab 5: BIG NO to any kind of physical contact
Yang ni wajib ditegur, sebab sakit mata melihat kaum sendiri yang kadang-kadang dah bergelar isteri orang pun, tapi tangan tak boleh nak kawal. Bertepuk tampar dengan suami orang, atau lelaki yang bukan muhrim.

Banyak cara boleh bergurau, pilih lah yang lebih bertempat. Jangan pakai redah ja dengan alasan ‘anggap adik / abang’ dan sebagainya. Yang terlupa hal ini, lepas ni beringat-ingatlah ya.

JAGA ADAB, JAGA KELAKUAN, JAGA BATASAN.

Perkara macam ni dah banyak berlaku dalam masyarakat dunia tanpa sempadan sekarang. Bukan hanya bermaksud ‘dia tulis sebab jadi kat dia’. Jangan gitu sis. Saya ni suka share pengalaman saya, umpama saya mencari pahala juga dgn menyebarkan peringatan bersama.

Seorang Pakar Motivasi Kata Lelaki Beristeri Lebih Dari Satu Hidup Lebih Lama Dan Lebih Bahagia

Baru baru ini seorang pakar motivasi membuat sebuah kenyataan bahawa lelaki yang memiliki lebih dari satu isteri (poligami) umurnya akan lebih panjang dan lebih sihat.

Umum mengetahui bahwa perkataan poligami sangat sensitif dikalangan wanita terutama wanita melayu.

Mengulas kenyataan pakar motivasi tersebut mengemukakan pakta bahwa berpoligami memiliki peranan penting pada kesihatan dan umur seseorang.

Berikut penjelasannya.

Kajian yang dilakukan oleh Virpi Lummaa, seorang pakar motivasi Inggris dari Universitas Sheffield mengemukakan kenyataan itu dalam acara tahunan International Society for Behavioral Ecology di Ithaca, New York, Amerika Syarikat.

Kajian itu menyimpulkan lelaki yang miliki isteri lebih dari satu dapat memanjangkan usia,kajian itu dilakukan kepada lelaki berusia 60 tahun yang berasal dari negara yang memiliki 140 orang yang beristeri lebih dari satu.

Beliau berkata rata rata usia lelaki yang melakukan poligami umurnya lebih lama 12% dari lelaki yang berkahwin satu.

Hal itu berkaitan dengan faktor sosial dan genetik.

Kajian itu juga menyebut bahawa lelaki yang memiliki isteri lebih dari satu ,pemakanan dan pengurusannya juga akan lebih baik,tentu kesihatannya akan lebih baik,mereka akan lebih bahagia kerana memiliki anak dan kehidupan seks yang mencukupi.

Kebutuhan seks yang terpenuhi akan membuat kesuburan lelaki tetap terjaga meskipun sudah berusia.

Hal itulah yang berpengaruh terhadap fungsi hormon dan mengatur metabolisme tubuh.

Bagi lelaki miliki isteri lebih dari satu memang dapat membawa efek baik untuk kesihatan,namun sayangnya hal tersebut tidak bekerja pada wanita.Bagaimana pun kajian tersebut hanya akan berkesan pada lelaki yang berpoligami secara adil.

3 Arrested For Riding ‘Modified’ E-Scooters Over 100kmh, Records States Fastest Clocked Was 130kmh

Three men have been arrested for dangerous driving after they were caught riding their electric scooters at speeds of more than 100kmh.

Police said that the three, aged between 32 and 37, were arrested for dangerous driving along Nicoll Drive last Saturday (Oct 14) at 2.05am. Investigations are ongoing.

Channel NewsAsia understands that the e-scooters were travelling at speeds of more than 100kmh.

Facebook group Use Your RoadSense reported that the highest speed clocked by the e-scooters was 130kmh, although Facebook users who commented on the post expressed incredulity that the personal mobility devices could reach such speeds.

“All road users are urged to drive and ride safely and to abide strictly to traffic rules and regulations,” police said. “Such dangerous and inconsiderate riding behaviour has to be taken seriously as it endangers the rider and other road users. The Police will not hesitate to take firm action against such offenders.”

There were 90 accidents involving power-assisted bicycles and personal mobility devices for the first six months of this year, resulting in four deaths and about 90 injuries.
