Dr Mahathir: Malaysia Could Become Singapore if Chinese Community Continues to Support DAP

    multiracial-malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 — Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed warned today that Malaysia could become like Singapore if the Chinese community here continues to support DAP’s alleged dream of complete political and economic dominance in Malaysia.

The former prime minister claimed that nothing good will come of Chinese dominance in politics or the economy — as has happened in neighbouring Singapore — as Malaysia is a multi-cultural society mostly made up of the Malays.

“In the 13th General Election, the DAP dangled before the eyes of the Chinese that this time (kali ini) they can grab both political and economic dominance,” he said in his latest posting on his blog, chedet.cc.

“They point to the Perak model where when Pakatan won the head of Government was a Malay but he was totally subservient to the DAP (Chinese).

“When the Pakatan Government with Nizar of PAS as the MB was brought down, the DAP told the Chinese that they had lost a Chinese Government. The Chinese in Perak have since become anti-BN,” he added.

He was referring to Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, the PAS leader who helmed Perak for 10 months in 2008 in a DAP-dominated government before a series of defections led to Barisan Nasional’s (BN) return to power in the silver state.

Dr Mahathir claimed that the DAP is taking advantage of the fact that the Malays today are divided between Umno and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) partners PKR and PAS, which gives DAP all the leverage it needs.

Explaining, he said the split support among the Malays would mean that all three Malay-based parties — Umno, PKR and PAS — would need to rely on Chinese support to win an election.

In such a situation, he alleged that DAP would not need to be directly in charge as they would have already worked out an arrangement with their PR partners where they would have their prime minister of choice under their thumb.

“Physically holding office is not necessary. If the Prime Minister is totally under the control of the DAP then it would become a Chinese dominated Government,” he said, adding that the DAP could very well see their so-called vision come true as soon as the next national polls if the trend of declining support for the ruling BN coalition continues.

Dr Mahathir insisted that the power-sharing formula now practised by BN — especially with the recent decision by MCA to rejoin the Cabinet after initially refusing to do so due to their poor outing in last year’s general election — is still the best way forward for the country.

He stressed that the DAP’s alleged plan to dominate the country’s politics and economy would only perpetuate a culture where each race will only look out for its own interests above the collective interests of the nation.

“Forget the idea of dominating all fields, of dominating both politics and economics. Go back to the idea of sharing. It will not be forever. It will be only for the duration when the Malays through their numbers dominate politics and the Chinese through their business acumen and money dominate the economy.

“Once the Malays and other indigenous people gain a fair share of the economic wealth of this country, they will lose their fear of Chinese domination. At that stage the Chinese share of political power would be enhanced.

“It may take years but that is as much as we can expect for as long as we insist on being identified by our racial origins,” he said.

BN is currently in a straight tussle with PKR in the Kajang state by-election this March 27. The ruling pact has put MCA vice-president Chew Mei Fun as their candidate against PKR president Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Vicious Cycle Cause Malays To Be The ‘Pariahs of Singapore’

    Dear Mr Prime Minister Sir,

    With all my respect Sir,

I congratulate you and your government for the generous recognitions of the pioneer generations, however, I would also like to bring to your attention on some issues which have been bugging the minds of fellow Singaporeans, I hope you would spend sometimes thinking about it

When I was doing business in Indonesia they called me as ’ orang Singpore’ there were some Chinese and Indian Singaporean, they all were also called ‘ orang Singapore’ not ‘orang Cina Singapore‘ or ’ orang India Singapore’ although it is different here in Singapore we are segregated into different racial groups for whatever reasons are
It is the same in Taiwan, although we rarely seen Malay Singaporean in Taiwan and we all know why
In USA they have progressed from treating the black people as slaves to their current social status as equals, during the world war two, it is amazing that the black people who were treated as second class citizens where they were not allowed to go to certain school, swimming pool restaurants and so on, but when they were drafted into the army they would fight for the country, now even the President of the USA is a Black man, how amazing !!

After fifty years we have come a long way as citizens of Singapore but yet we were still being treated like a second class citizen, we were prevented into certain area in the Army installations, not to mention the Air force and the Navy, it is ironic that the government would accept foreigners to even work as a police officers but are still suspicious of the Malays who has been born and bred here

T he question is how do you know that the people you would employed as police officers are not extremist from Xinjiang or Southern part of Philippine or rapist from India ? And how do you know that they would not bring their culture of corruptions into this country?

Although during the Japanese occupation the Malays were the one’s fighting hand in hand with the British Soldiers against the Japanese invasions

With the current immigration policy where foreigners from other Asian countries readily admitted to Singapore except for the Malay stocks, they would come with a minimum of a diploma or a degree, whereby due to high unemployment of a lower paying job held by the Malays due to your current policy of not allowing the Malays to work in the defense sectors where, thousands of jobs could be offered to us with a reasonably paying salary, as a result our kids were not able to compete on a level playing field with all other races, not even with the new immigrants, because their fathers would be either out of job or holding a lower paying job, as a result there are 70% of our kids are in the ITE instead of the institute of the higher learning !

As a result of your government suspicions on the Malays, the sentiments had transpired into the private sectors too, because the people running the defense sectors would eventually being released into private sectors and the suspicions continues

Of course you will have some Malays in certain places just to show that you are truly practicing what you preach, a meritocratic system of government, however don’t you know that the world is getting smaller with the existence of internet media and the people around the world would not be bluff anymore ?

My estimation is that this vicious cycle would continue and we would remain as the Pariahs of Singapore for a very long time

There are so many Malay MPs in parliament, however none of them have the guts to tell our three Prime Minister about what they should not do for the well being of our country, they should have told our Prime Ministers ? racial segregation is bad for the country, politics of the sixties are not relevant anymore to Singapore, we have come a long way, we speak the same lingo in which we called Singlish, we have grown to accept ever y body’s habit and culture

For economic viability the defense sector should remove their suspicions against the Malays, are we not your true blue Singaporean brothers and sisters ?

The Malays are not known to be a business man, but we are a good and well discipline employees, and has been proven time and again Malay soldiers and police officers don’t back out on their duty to protect their country
I see the defense sectors as a good job opportunity and an opportunity to protect our beautiful country

I have some Filipino friends who spoke Singlish like us, some PRCs nurses who speak with the word ‘lah’, my doctor from India spoke with the word ‘lah’ too these are all genuine people who genuinely wanted to live and build our country together with us, and we have accepted them, if we can accept these people why cant the PAP accept us and remove all their suspicions ?

This is PTE Faris Nabil, a Fast Craft Seaman from 191 Squadron. It is his very first participation in the National Day Parade, and he is excited and nervous about being in the parade marching contingent.

“We have been rehearsing almost every Saturday since April. Some of the rehearsals took place during Ramadan, during which I have to fast. It wasn’t easy during that period of time, but my friends and trainers’ support helped me through it. There are also many uncles and aunties in the marching contingent who were also fasting. Seeing how they persevered through the practices was a motivation for me to perform well too.”

  • Sekolah Larang Pakai Hijab Pada Sambutan Hari Kebangsaan Walaupun Tidak Beruniform

Sekolah Larang Pakai Hijab Pada Sambutan Hari Kebangsaan Walaupun Tidak Beruniform

    singapore national day

Assalamu’alaikum…. haaaahhh…. hari ni saya nak luahkan perasaan sedih…

Persoalannya, saya faham, tudung is not part of the school uniform.

The sch name is Zhenghua Primary… En Zainal MP dah bantu saya speak to VP. VP was not aware of this… saya reply, saya tak kisah lah kalau sekolah tu bagi surat, bagitau dgn parents no head gears is allowed. ok fine… anak saya pakai uniform je kalau gitu kan… mcm nurse … saya dulu pun gitu, gi sekolah bertudung sampai sekolah bukak lah pakai uniform… tak der masalah pun… saja je teacher bangang agaknya.

VP baru call… dia apologize.. kisahnya sebenar, this Mdm Teng Litan ni, waktu she demanded my daughter to take off her tudung, ada satu lagi teacher intervene asking her to refer to Mr Faisal sbb Mr Faisal ni is the in charge of the Muslim Affair student kt sklh tu… but she did not do that… so bila MP called to inform the school, she peng story kata, she tak demand cuma request je… i snubbed back la… kalau request, suara tak kan tegas garang sampai budak tu takut lalu bukak tudung… I asked the VP, so if Insyirah did not take off her tudung, will Mdm Teng take disciplinary action against her? That was the implication she gave to my daughter… The VP apologize banyak banyak kali.

I also mentioned that kalau tak mo bagi pakai head gear, then tulis surat clearly state that no head gears are allowed. Saya akan suruh anak saya pakai uniform je… lagipun saya cakap, head gears utk anak saya tu, sbb kan dia suka fesyen bertudung… tak der kena mengena dgn agama pun… saya galakkan je lah.. lagipun dah kebetulan satu tuntutan agama… so tak payahlah saya nak nasihat kan dia suruh pakai tudung kan…
