Desperate Father: Will My Son Ever Get A Place In Autism SPED School When Even My Own MP Cannot Help?

NOT ASKING FOR THE MOON…Just A Place For My Son In Autism Sped School…!!!

I rarely post on social media. But today is an exception. Today I can’t help but to post this.

After much persuasion from my wife… today after work, I accompanied both my wife and son to Eden School / Eden Centres for Adults / Eden Children’s Centres / AAS for Autism, in hopes to plead for a slot this year for Nabil in there.

After meeting with the in charge for enrollment, to our disappointment we were told that the earliest most possible intake for Nabil is next year in January 2018.

He’s of a P2 age this year…it’s been 2 lengthy years already..how long more do you expect my son to wait… I can’t help feeling the negative vibes that Nabil is like not being considered for a place at all when being told to go and try for other sped schools or private schools…..this is easier said than done.

It is beyond my understanding why distance between school and home is not being considered during a sped school enrollment just like how it is being applied in mainstream primary schools.

Really could not comprehend the system how a student who resides in as far as pasir ris and tampines are prioritized and get a slot in Eden (Bt Batok) while we the apparent west residents (CCK) are left hanging precariously by the hook.

We as parents are truly exhausted. Have tried numerous means of help…even to the extend of approaching the Member of Parliament of our area Mr Zaqy Mohamad in hopes to expedite the enrollment but till today..we have yet to receive even a reply from him regarding the matter regrettably.

It is just emotionally tiring and draining to say the least…as a husband, seeing your wife shedding her tears helplessly in public as we step out of Eden School earlier on while hugging my son was the last straw for me!

Seek help from Ministry of Education, Singapore you say?? How could we when in the first place, they couldn’t even help to issue a student ezlink card for Nabil just because he has yet to get enrolled into a school. Yes. My son all this while has been paying adult fare whenever he took the train since he turns 7. How justifying is this…?! You see how my son has been tossed back and forth all these while….

The system got to change…someone has got to look into the cases which falls through the cracks…that’s where our unheard voices are being suppressed unfairly….?

Uber Drivers Don’t Take Rest So They Can Make More Money

Dear Admin,

As an Uber/Grab driver, I would like to share with you some irresponsible and possibly dangerous behaviour. For the sake of money, some drivers are willing to work continuously for 24 hours with minimum rest. If you are a customer and you see the driver is tired or dozing off, please continue to talk to them and keep them awake to prevent accidents. If you are drunk or sleepy and driver also very tired then I also dunno how to help u.

This guy Ad~ actually shared that he drive from 5pm to 3pm the next day with no sleep and very little breaks. And I tell u he’s not the only one working like this during long weekend and public holidays. He earned over $1K and he will be doing it again later.

Stay safe during festive period. Money can earn back but life only got 1.

There are so many ways to market your food. You don’t have to resort to this to bolster your sales.

Grabhitch Driver With Pet Chihuahua Strikes Again

The next time you GRABCAR / GRABSHARE / GRABHITCH – please do becareful.

Hi all. Wanna bring your attention to this – especially ladies. (PLEASE SHARE THIS)

My friend and i booked grabhitch yesterday (02/01/2017) at about 2250 hours from 444 PASIR RIS DRIVE 6 to MUSTAFA CENTRE. Awhile later, we got a driver. While waiting for the driver at the foot of the block, my friend received an incoming call from the driver directing us to go to level 2 of the carpark which was just right behind the block.

Not thinking anything was amiss, we went. Upon reaching, we saw this blonde tatooed guy with a CHIHUAHUA barking aggresively – non-stop. He told us to quickly get in the car.

As i recalled reading an article about an incident between a grab driver, his pet and his passenger, i told my friend to not board the car. We told him politely that i am not comfortable taking his car, with his aggresive barking chihuahua. We also said to him that he should inform us first if he is bringing a pet with him to check if we were comfortable with it or not.

He then replied, “FUCK OFF, IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE THEN DON’T HITCH OR GRAB!!” We were both stunned. I told him that the only reason I am not comfortable with it was because his dog was barking aggressively throughout the 8 to 10 minutes we were there. We have the right to refuse the ride because he did not inform us that we will be grab hitching with a chihuahua. He asked us to get lost and made rude and sarcastic remarks.

Not wanting to aggravate him further, we walked off. I called grab customer service and told her about the situation and she said that she will write a report about the driver.

Definitely, the WORST driver with an ULTIMATE SHIT ATTITUDE ever.
