Macpherson RC Photo Prove That Singaporeans Are Second Class Compared To The New Citizens

Singaporeans are sick and tired of being made second class citizens in their own home.

We thought we had made it clear in 2011 that we want the rampant immigration and the social problems it causes to be rolled back, but it seems that after the 2015 elections, the PAP are back to their old ways.

When I first moved into my estate 20 years ago, I remember being greeted very often by my local Singaporean RC chairman and his members. They were always so helpful and anyone who talked with them felt at ease. National Days back then felt genuinely patriotic. We would gather and sing songs over food with neighbours from all the races, Malay, Indian, Eurasian you name it!

But as the years go by, I saw my RC members less and less. Some retired, some moved out. New committee members replaced them. In recent years, I even see an increase in RC members of questionable nationalities joining.

These days when I walk into my RC, I can no longer hear the graceful melodies of Teresa Teng being sung by our local aunties! The Karaoke Rooms are quiet, and the meeting rooms are quiet. RCs these days are more like places for people to ingratiate themselves with the PAP MP and their volunteers. Even these volunteers, many of them are unashamedly new citizens!

Where has Singapore’s Gotong Royong spirit gone?

I saw this picture and felt inspired to lament the passing on of Singapore’s golden generation. We are really living in desperate times.

  • 3 Britons Of Vietnamese Descent Charged With Gang-Raping Woman In Singapore

3 Britons Of Vietnamese Descent Charged With Gang-Raping Woman In Singapore

Three British men were charged in Singapore on Tuesday (Aug 1) for allegedly gang-raping a 23-year-old woman while visiting the country for a bachelor party.

Khong Tam Thanh, 22, Le Michael, 24, and Vu Thai Son, 24, face up to 20 years in jail and caning if found guilty of assaulting the Malaysian woman while she was drunk and unconscious at the end of the night out.

All three, British citizens of Vietnamese descent, deny the allegations.

In an opening statement, prosecutors said the defendants were in Singapore in September as part of a group of nine for a bachelor party, and attended an electronic music festival called Ultra Singapore.

The groom, the brother of Khong, was also on the trip.

They met the woman in a popular nightspot, where she had been partying with a friend.

After she had agreed to have sex with one of their friends, a British citizen of Vietnamese origin identified as Richard Ahn, he took her to his room at Carlton Hotel on Bras Basah Road.

After the pair had sex, Khong, Le and Vu took turns to enter the room and raped the woman as she lay drunk and unconscious, the court heard.

“Having consented to having sexual intercourse with one individual, she was then raped by three other men,” deputy public prosector G Kannan told the High Court.

“Intoxicated and asleep, she was unaware of what was going on around her. She was taken advantage of and raped in quick succession by the three.”

The men took care to make as little noise as possible but the victim woke up as Le assaulted her, the court heard.

They all face one count each of raping the alleged victim in the early hours of Sep 10 last year. Khong and Vu, who work as beauticians in Britain, face additional charges of sexual assault by digital penetration. Le is unemployed.

Ahn, 24, absconded while under investigation. The victim, who lives in Johor Baru, cannot be named because of a court order protecting her identity.

  • Animal Father Videos Own 21 Year Old Daughter Bathing, Jailed 4 Months

Animal Father Videos Own 21 Year Old Daughter Bathing, Jailed 4 Months

A man who recorded a video of his 21-year-old daughter bathing was jailed for four months on Monday (July 31).

The 48-year-old Malaysian pleaded guilty to insulting the modesty of his biological daughter in the toilet of a flat in Toh Yi Drive in July 2016.

At the time, the accused and his daughter were living in the same rented room.

Sometime in July last year, the complainant, now 22, was bathing when she saw a black mobile phone tied to the pipe below the basin inside the toilet.

She removed the phone and saw that it was in video recording mode. She stopped the recording and played back the video, which captured her nude body as she was bathing.

She then checked the phone and saw a few other videos capturing the accused’s face, and him adjusting the camera’s angle.

When confronted, the accused admitted that he had been doing this for the past two weeks.

She angrily deleted all the videos from the phone and returned it to him.

She subsequently left to stay with her colleague.

The accused admitted that he recorded the video for personal viewing. He had about 20 other similar clips of his daughter bathing in his phone but said that he had misplaced the device.

On April 5 this year at about 3.10am, officers responded to a message at Block 840 Jurong West Street 81 and arrested the accused for attempted suicide.

A second charge of using threatening words and behaviour towards his daughter by saying that he wanted to jump down while having his arms and left leg on the parapet was taken into consideration during sentencing.

  • Hero Mother Went Into Burning Flat To Save Daughter, Would Rather Sacrifice Own Life Than Watch Children Die

Hero Mother Went Into Burning Flat To Save Daughter, Would Rather Sacrifice Own Life Than Watch Children Die

The flat was ablaze, with thick smoke everywhere, and her neighbours persuaded her not to enter.

Madam Cynthia Liew, 35, still rushed in to save her four-year-old daughter during Saturday evening’s fire.

She had to use her sense of touch to manoeuvre for five minutes in the three-room flat before she found the little girl in the bedroom.

The girl was calm and expressionless, and Madam Liew carried her out to safety. Both suffered smoke inhalation. The New Paper had reported yesterday about the fire in the 11th storey flat in Block 4, Haig Road.

Madam Liew is now warded at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, while her daughter and son are warded at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

She told The New Paper: “My children are so young, I would rather perish than let them die.

“But they were braver and calmer than me, they did not make noise and kept quiet throughout.”

The housewife, whose partner is currently in remand, said the fire started from the kitchen, and she suspects it was the washing machine socket that caused it. Madam Liew is extremely thankful for her neighbours’ help.

“I was coughing and even fainted when I got out of the house, but thankfully, my neighbours and the police were there to assist me and my children.”

Her neighbours found her five-year-old son crying at the door and they prised the gate open so that he could crawl through.

About 50 residents from the block were evacuated furing the fire.

When TNP visited the flat again yesterday afternoon, Madam Liew’s children’s grandfather, Mr Ang Cee Hock, 77, said he will continue living in the flat.

“There isn’t any electricity now and all my electrical appliances such as my fridge and washing machine are not working. But I have to stay here to take care of it because it is my home.”C

But Madam Liew is worried as he is old and there is no one at home to look after him. “I hope he can move out until the flat is safe to live in.”

  • Singaporean Malays Should Endorse Dr Tan Cheng Bock As Malay So He Can Contest EP

Singaporean Malays Should Endorse Dr Tan Cheng Bock As Malay So He Can Contest EP

Halimah Yacob is considered a Malay by the Malay community. Therefore, we should not fetter about trying to say Halimah Yacob is or is not Malay.

Instead, start by going to your local Malay community, neighbours, void decks, and convince your Malay friends/co-workers to consider Tan Cheng Bock as a Malay by the Malay community. (He does not need to be Muslim. Malay!= Muslim).

Being part of the Malay community does not mean you have to be Malay by race, many Indians, Sarawakan, Peranakan, Javanese, Arabs can be considered Malay even though they are distantly related by race.

As long as The Bock is legitimized as a member of the Malay Community, he would be eligible to run as President.
