    Mengapa Susah Nak Dapat Bantuan Dari Mendaki Atau MUIS?

    Nak register anak masuk madrasah mingguan, registration fee satu pelajar berharga $110, 2 anak dah $220. Itu belum termasuk buku dan uniform. Pancit juga. Isteri bilang boleh minta subsidise dari Mendaki atau Muis. Aku bilang dia jangan buang masa minta bantuan dgn 2 badan ni.

    Selagi ada tv kat rumah, application bantuan kewangan akan fail. Dah 4 tahun aku sorang cari rezeki untuk keluarga. Memang penat, itu pun ada yg hutang tak bayar2 termasuk duit penat bekam.

    Ya aku sindir keras gila vavi ni. Pelajaran dunia dan ukhrawi mahal mana pun, aku tetap akan usaha untuk pendidikan pelajaran anak2. Yg penting aku tak hutang siapa2 melainkan hutang rumah, kenderaan, dan hutang budi pada Allah.

    Yg kuat hutang tu, tak kiralah dgn siapa, hidupnya tak akan tenang, hidupnya akan makin susah. Ni bukan aku doakan tapi kata2 dari kalam ulama. Saje nak bersuara. Kalau tak bersuara orang tak tahu kepeee…kepala pistol tembak satu. 😂🔫

    MUIS: Social Media Not Appropriate Platform To Receive Religious Guidance And Instruction

    In a media statement, the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) stressed that social media is “not the appropriate platform” to receive religious guidance and instruction, “not least in understanding complex political and armed conflicts in the Muslim world”.

    MUIS noted that in Khairul’s case, as well as that of Syaikhah Izzah Zahrah Al Ansari – who was detained last week for radicalism – what is “common and disturbing” is that both were self-radicalised through social media.

    “Exposure to the propaganda of extremist and radical groups online who exploit these conflicts to radicalise Muslims will misguide them to believe that participation in such conflicts is a religious duty,” said MUIS. In both cases, family and friends found out about their views and intentions but did not report them to authorities, it added.

    “The best way to help our loved ones away from this path is to offer help early by referring them to experts in this area, as soon as we detect there may be something wrong,” said MUIS.

    MUIS added that it is also working to develop the capabilities of local asatizah, or Islamic religious teachers, to be able to engage Singaporean Muslims on social media, noting that some younger asatizah have “started to make some good headway” in this area.

    “We hope to populate social media with socio-religious content which is appropriate to Singapore, and negate the dangerous content which had managed to mislead Khairul and Izzah,” it said.

    MUIS also urged the community to play its part, and report family members and friends who exhibit such tendencies as soon as they are detected, so “appropriate help and intervention can be given”.

    Only Four Establishments Given Temporary MUIS Halal Certification

    TEMPORARY MUIS HALAL CERTIFICATION

    One of the schemes that MUIS offers to the halal market is the issuance of temporary halal certification for specified duration from several hours to several weeks, like for the whole month of Ramadhan. Booths at bazaars can actually apply for the temporary halal certification. For the past years, several hotels have successfully obtained such temporary halal certification from MUIS.

    Recently, MUIS has issued Temporary Halal Certificates to restaurants at 4 hotels this year which offer Iftar to Muslims.

    They are as follows:

    1. Azur Restaurant @ Crowne Plaza (27 May – 28 June)

    2. Panorama Room @ Hilton (26 May – 26 June)

    3. Window on Park @ Holiday Inn Orchard City Centre (26 May – 26 June)

    4. Atrium Restaurant @ Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium (25 May – 2 July)

    MUIS Umum Kadar Zakat Fitrah Tahun Ini

    MUIS mengumumkan kadar zakat fitrah bagi Ramadan tahun ini, iaitu $5.10 seorang bagi kadar biasa, dan $7 seorang, bagi mereka yang ingin membayar zakat lebih tinggi.

    Pembayaran wang tunai, cek atau NETS boleh dibuat melalui amil di masjid-masjid, badan-badan Melayu/Islam dan MUIS.

    Pembayaran menerusi mesin AXS boleh dilakukan mulai esok.

    Masyarakat Muslim turut boleh membayar fitrah dengan menggunakan telepol fitrah di talian nombor,1900-112-3510 ( bagi $5.10 seorang) dan talian 1900-112-3700 (bagi $7 seorang).

    Tarikh tutup bagi telepol tersebut ialah pada 25 Jun, sebelum 7.00 pagi.

    Selain daripada menggunakan telepol fitrah, masyarakat Muslim juga boleh membuat pembayaran secara dalam talian dan menerusi ATM.

    Pembayaran boleh dibuat sepanjang bulan Ramadan hingga pagi Syawal pertama sebelum solat Aidilfitri.

    Ahmadiyya Response To MUIS

    On the 2 May 2017, Yahoo News Singapore published an article titled “Behind the belief: The Ahmadis of Singapore’.

    Yahoo interviewed Ali who is one of about 280 active members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Singapore, based in a mosque along Onan Road. These believers claim that the Ahmadiyya movement is a branch of Islam, with one key difference: while it accepts the divinity of Prophet Muhammad, it does not believe that he is the last messenger of Allah. Ahmadis look to their founder Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, a 19th century religious leader from the Punjab, as the prophesied Mahdi, or redeemer of Islam.

    Mainstream Muslims in Singapore and around the world do not consider the Ahmadis to be their co-religionists. The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore, or MUIS, issued a fatwa (ruling) in 1969 declaring Mirza Ghulam to be “not only a kafir (unbeliever) who is murtad (a Muslim who has rejected Islam), his teachings are misleading and could lead people astray from the real teachings of Islam”.

    “MUIS or MUIS fatwa (edict) committee issued a fatwa (edict) dating back to 23 June 1969 declaring the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Community, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (on whom be peace) who claimed to be the Promised Messiah of the later days, ‘not only a kafir (disbeliever) who is murtad (apostate), his teachings are misleading and could lead people astray from the real teachings of Islam’, God forbid!”

    Another believer when prompted, replied emphatically, “Yeah, of course. Very thankful, we are quite fortunate. Our government is…very particular that we should not instigate or use religion to incite others. Otherwise, we could not have (this building).”
