  • Yazidi Woman Held As ISIS Sex Slave ‘Abused Every Day’ For Seven Months

Yazidi Woman Held As ISIS Sex Slave ‘Abused Every Day’ For Seven Months

A sex slave held by the terror group Isis for seven months has described her captors as “not like humans”.

The 25-year-old woman, who has four children, was held by jihadists in Syria where she says she was abused every day by her captor.

“I cannot tell you how awful these people are. They were not like humans, you cannot imagine it,” the Yazidi woman told Sky News.

She said her children were beaten to make sure she did as she was told, adding: “I was so worried that he [her captor, known as Omar] would take away my children.

“They were very violent and shouting every day. My father and brothers were taken away and even now we don’t have any news of them.

“Most probably they were killed but it’s better. It’s better that they are dead and not in prisons with these people. Even us, we were just wishing to die rather than stay with such people.”

In December, Nadia Murad Basee Taha described the terrifying ordeal of how she was imprisoned by Isis fighters to the UN security council, before urging them to bring perpetrators of such violence to justice.

“We, the women and children were brought by bus to another region,” she said. “Along the way they humiliated us. They touched us and violated us.

“They took us to Mosul with more than 150 other Yazidi families. There were thousands of Yazidi families and children who were exchanged as gifts.

“One of these people came up to me, he wanted to take me, I was absolutely petrified. He forced me to serve as part of his military faction.

“He humiliated me every day. He forced me to wear clothes that didn’t cover my body. I was tortured.

“I tried to flee but one of the guards stopped me. That night he beat me.”

Isis jihadists justify raping Yazidi women because they claim Islam allows them to have sex with non-Muslims.

Rothna Begum, women’s rights researcher, Human Rights Watch, says: “Isis forces have abducted thousands of Yezidis since August 2014 and committed organized rape, sexual assault, and other horrific crimes against many Yezidi women and girls.

“These are war crimes and may be crimes against humanity. We spoke to women and girls who escaped and told us they had been forced into marriage; bought and sold, sometimes in “slavery markets” and even multiple times, or given as “gifts”.

“Isis acknowledges such crimes and attempts to justify them by categorizing captured Yezidi women and girls as “spoils of war” for its fighters, and claims that Islam permits sex with non-Muslim “slaves”.”

  • Jurutera Wanita Lihat Cabaran Sebagai Peluang Timba Ilmu

Jurutera Wanita Lihat Cabaran Sebagai Peluang Timba Ilmu

  • Local Girl: Singaporean Men Are Hopeless, I Only Go For Mat Salleh

Local Girl: Singaporean Men Are Hopeless, I Only Go For Mat Salleh

    <Comment by Sylveon Tan>

SG guys are generally hopeless, many are without any direction or goal in life. And since they live with their parents for much of their growing-up years and even adult lives, they’re not independent. Even NS, which is supposed to make them more independent, only teaches them to follow orders and the status quo.

Even within tertiary institutions, local guys seem so childish. Instead of talking about careers and similar fields, they usually hang out and talk about army or games. We want mature, responsible, financially-independent men who are able to provide a sense of security

A good hubby/boyfriend is one with not just a career-minded goal in life, he must also be a strong leader. That’s why I only go for Western men.

Since they usually leave their homes at an early age to stake out a bright future for themselves, many have the qualities I look for in men, and many have the will and resolve to attain success, which is rarely seen here.

  • Rich Singaporean Wives Hiring Women To Lure Their Husbands

Rich Singaporean Wives Hiring Women To Lure Their Husbands

Singaporeans have been hiring agencies in China to get their husbands’ mistresses to back off, according to a foreign report on these “mistress-ditching” firms.

But what if the spouse’s lover is in Singapore?

To save their marriages from falling apart, Singaporeans have been paying five-figure sums to hire honey trappers to seduce their own misbehaving husbands or wives, reveal private investigators here.

The honey trapper will attempt to seduce the third party or the cheating spouse to destroy the extramarital relationship, they say.

Yes, agents have been engaged by distraught husbands, too.

“It is not an advertised service. The request must come from the client,” says Mr David Ng from DP Quest Private Investigation Consultancy.

“They usually know what they want. They would request a particular profile of a honey trapper that they want, specific to the preference of their cheating spouses.”

  • Muslim Women In Pahang Dressed Indecently During Ramadan Face Possible 1 Year Jail Term

Muslim Women In Pahang Dressed Indecently During Ramadan Face Possible 1 Year Jail Term

KUANTAN – Muslim women in the state who fail to adhere to a “decent” dress code during the month of Ramadan can end up in jail for a year or fined up to RM2,000, a local English daily reports.

Pahang Islamic Religious Department (JAIP) head of investigation Mohd Anis Azmi said that checks done at a few local Ramadan bazaars have shown that many Muslim women were clad in dresses that were “too short or tight”, something he considers as “inappropriately dressed”.

“They should refrain from wearing revealing dresses in respect of the holy month,” Anis was quoted saying.

“This is a warning for the public before we start our operations against the offenders soon. JAIP cannot set a benchmark on what is decent attire, as what is decent to me may not be considered so to others,” he added.

“We also cannot be telling them what they should wear, but a rule of thumb is to dress decently even if you are only out to buy food in a Ramadan bazaar,” Anis explained further.

He revealed that once caught and deemed improperly dressed by the religious authority, the women will be counselled, and repeat offenders could face imprisonment or a fine.
