  • Yuna Engaged To Malaysian Director Adam Sinclair

Yuna Engaged To Malaysian Director Adam Sinclair

Yuna has got engaged to boyfriend Adam Sinclair, the Malaysian singer-songwriter formally announced on Sunday (Aug 6).

It was a “traditional Malay engagement” ceremony, said the 31-year-old, held at her family home in Shah Alam, Selangor on Saturday.

“We decorated my whole house with fresh flowers, opened our home to Adam’s family and our uncles (representing our families) had a little chit chat about our plan getting hitched.

“They exchanged beautiful poems and our families exchanged gifts… making this whole thing legit (sic)!” said Yuna, who is signed with David Foster’s Verve Music Group, on Instagram.

The traditional Malay gift exchange – a move Yuna described as “staying true to our roots” – involved both sides presenting items like dress material, cakes and other sweets on trays.

In an interview with Channel NewsAsia in November last year, the award-winning star said she thought it “important to hold on to (her) Malaysian roots” while pursuing her career in the US.

The event was pastel-themed, with Yuna wearing a periwinkle blue lace dress by Malaysian designer Hatta Dolmat.

Earlier on Saturday, 33-year-old Adam, who directed Yuna’s Pulang music video, shared a photo of him as a child with the caption: “Are you sure, @yunaleese?”. The caption was addressed to Yuna on her private Instagram meant “for family and friends”.

The Lullabies and Rescue star shared a childhood photo of her own on her @yunamusic account as well, with the caption: “We came a long way, didn’t we?”

Yuna’s other half is brother to Malaysian actor Ashraf Sinclair, who has been married to Indonesian star Bunga Citra Lestari since 2008.

  • Animal Father Videos Own 21 Year Old Daughter Bathing, Jailed 4 Months

Animal Father Videos Own 21 Year Old Daughter Bathing, Jailed 4 Months

A man who recorded a video of his 21-year-old daughter bathing was jailed for four months on Monday (July 31).

The 48-year-old Malaysian pleaded guilty to insulting the modesty of his biological daughter in the toilet of a flat in Toh Yi Drive in July 2016.

At the time, the accused and his daughter were living in the same rented room.

Sometime in July last year, the complainant, now 22, was bathing when she saw a black mobile phone tied to the pipe below the basin inside the toilet.

She removed the phone and saw that it was in video recording mode. She stopped the recording and played back the video, which captured her nude body as she was bathing.

She then checked the phone and saw a few other videos capturing the accused’s face, and him adjusting the camera’s angle.

When confronted, the accused admitted that he had been doing this for the past two weeks.

She angrily deleted all the videos from the phone and returned it to him.

She subsequently left to stay with her colleague.

The accused admitted that he recorded the video for personal viewing. He had about 20 other similar clips of his daughter bathing in his phone but said that he had misplaced the device.

On April 5 this year at about 3.10am, officers responded to a message at Block 840 Jurong West Street 81 and arrested the accused for attempted suicide.

A second charge of using threatening words and behaviour towards his daughter by saying that he wanted to jump down while having his arms and left leg on the parapet was taken into consideration during sentencing.

  • Malaysian Foodpanda Rider Stealing Singaporeans’ Rice Bowl, So Citizens Should Steal Each Others’ To Survive

Malaysian Foodpanda Rider Stealing Singaporeans’ Rice Bowl, So Citizens Should Steal Each Others’ To Survive

However shocking it is to hear our Prime Minister lecturing our own working citizens to “steal other people’s lunch boxes” in this year May Day celebration, it is apparently clear that that has to be done. Look, even Malaysians are taking up food delivery jobs using Msia-plate motorbikes.

More riders, more competition, means more effort and hard work. Malaysian with msia-plate motorbikes has more advantage compared to Singaporeans using Singapore registered bikes right? How do one work hard enough to become abang Foodpanda that earns 4k then?

And what is the norm in Singapore nowadays?

PAP stealing from citizens, PAP keep inviting foreigners here to steal jobs from citizens, and now citizens have to start stealing from other citizens to survive?

Ownself protect interest of ownself ke? Lie, cheat and steal too? Haramjah betol.
